Im using a usb to midi cable thru DAW and to the JT4000. I dont think it can be connected directly.

the scroll also has a clickable button (its the one over the osc-x button). when changing any setting a * appears in the display, by pressing the scroll you save the patch with the new settings.

the midi is over usb. so it needs a computer, the jt4000 is connected with an arturia keystep and a computer daw to convert the usbmidi.

started with the loop on the craftsynth, then the stylophone beat then electric bass. Yes its (for me)hard playing all the instruments, trying ambient tracks sometimes aswell :) the velocity on the on the instruments vary, and the timing too (for me). takes a few takes to record everything so it sounds ok. Really?! It's 45 bux well spent imho. I'm sure Behringer is more than capable of making a clone of the jt8000, but that wasn't exactly the point of this. McDonald's didn't make their billions by selling $100 dollar cheeseburgers did they? I think it's smart on their part to offer different price points so everyone can get in on playing. Its a mini/ tribute to appeal to the on the go musician that doesn't necessarily have Hundreds to spend on a synth . You often get what you pay for, but here I believe Behringer has offered incredible value in this little guy all day! Do you have one? I have no regrets, or complaints on my purchase at all. I think mine sounds pretty damn good, for what it is. It has features and sounds pretty good for a price compared to a Stylophone. Idk, maybe they'll make a better version someday, but for $45 I've not seen or heard of any hardware synth sounding better than the jt-4000. It's not a matter of "disrespecting" anyone or any synth. Such a trendy thing to hate on Behringer these days, I know lol..when cost of living has gone up, but employers won't compensate. We SHOULD ALL be made of money and pay the highest premium for everything!. Or is it, we should have a $5k vintage looking and sounding synth for $45? I don't get all the negativity, mine sounds pretty powerful in my sound system. Especially, after tweaking some of the parameters. I'd buy another one, and probably will for a friend.

Hello! press osc-x button, then go to prog name edit. push down the selection potentiometer(it has also a clickable enter function) then turn the potentiometer to change letter, to move foward push enter again!
