There should be Strict Guidelines given to all the "content creators" by all the platforms that, if the information shared by them don't have a Verified Source, they'd have to mention that its either their personal opinion or their personal experience. Otherwise they'd be flagged as sharing Misinformation. You can't exactly stop people from sharing their own opinion or their side of the story. But, you can opt for the methods like the above, that reduce Misinformation.

Its the comments sections and twitter that is controlling the narrative and therefore controlling the algorithms. I am a software engineer/AI expert of over 25 years, what has happened over the last few years is as follows. Firstly in the US there is a fanatical and loyal religious following, in some states (mainly republican but democrat as well) there are significant amounts of the population who literally spend all their time either online or on religious/state specific TV channels. They have only ever seen one type of message, they believe fanatically that certain belief systems are right and do not get any balanced views. This allowed certain people like Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro, Joe Rogan etc to build up a huge following. Religion is very well funded in the US, they take 10% of peoples salaries. AI bots have been around for 10 years, way before Chat GPT. When Elon took over Twitter 60% of the accounts where bots or paid tweeters. These bots are outside the algorithms as they focus on keywords, for example the church in USA is funding anti trans, pfizer funded anti astra zeneca covid because it was $2 and there shot was $100 and we are now seeing the middle east fund genocide/anti Israel bots. These bots follow people on twitter based on keywords, reply to tweets and then dominate the conversations. 99.99% of people have no idea they are bots. They also dominate video comment sections which use algorithms to show comments highest. This means that Taylor swift for example, the swifties all commented on her videos, the ones with the most likes and comments where the positive ones about her i.e. "her secret relationship" "words biggest singer" "she interacts with fans" and these keywords were in the top three comments underneath every video of her which made more people click on the video which made her part of every algorithm on every platform. Its using a large demographic to either create a positive story (taylor swift) or play on religious/political mid cortex beliefs (Jordan Peterson) but the alarming thing is people with the most money can create the most software bots which cannot be controlled by algorithms, especially on twitter. Sabrina carpenter grew because the switfies all took her on, Taylor Swift can't grow much more, she has more or less hit saturation but she can influence anybody she interacts with as she appears in the videos with the other person and the other person gets mass coverage because of the comments as explained above. SEO tip Email customer database and ask them to write a review on your products to be entered into £10,000 prize draw. e.g. Netflix ask for reviews of favourite show. They get millions of pages of unique content/long tail keywords such as actors/plots giving them a huge long tail keyword search presence. Same for any product you sell online be it cars, fashion etc.
