I already watch it few months ago but just yesterday I discovered HOW GOOD OST is, very fantasy-RPG. PS. Frieren is amazing, no need to be afraid guys. She's like Gandalf of her world. Come here and there for hundred years, do some silly stuff, help some volks. But can go on sirious slayer mod if need.

Am I the only one who hates freiren, the character. For no reason at all??!

That Look for the first one has me asking 1 Who hurt Fern? and 2 Should we contact their next of kin to notify them where the idiot's crater is?

Frieren is the only anime made since _Toradora!_ , _Cowboy Bebop_ , the first arc of _The Twelve Kingdoms_ , _Puella Magi Madoka Magica_ ,and maybe _Ghost In The Shell_ that I've found enjoyable.(i.e., not a mishmash of the exact same shonen trope bullshit). And even Frieren has that shonen trope bullshit sometimes -- like the First Class Mage battle royale drama that sprung from people trying to steal instead of getting their own, when they had to catch a certain thing. The difference, I feel, is that those shenanigans aren't the focus. They aren't even something the main characters truly give a care about. It's about the journey, coming to terms with and recontexualizing the past, watching and helping the new generation on the paths one once traveled or saw others do so, and Frieren learning about herself in the process... all mixed with a careful dose of comedy when and where appropriate, but _not to extremes_ . ...the occaional unnecessary armpit and foot fetish shots on two of the women aside. The beautiful music and animation certainly doesn't hurt. :)

Endless love to anything related to Frieren! I saw recommendations regarding this anime from time to time (late 2023/early 2024) Finally decided to watch it after reading so many positive comments (august 2024) Within less than a week I finished watching Frieren. I then started to look up videos on UA-cam from people who made reviews and analysis. Also, I started to look for the soundtrack too, and I got here to this video. Been 3 months listening to this almost every single day while I have breakfast in the morning. Also, rewatched the whole series again, and rewatched spare-random chapters several times every now-and-then. Bought the first book of the manga. Just finished reading it, while the anime's soundtrack played as background music. Came to the comments ti say thank you. This is absolute awesome and we owe Evan Call so much. He made this incredibly beautiful music, and I can't stop listening to it ❤. I am really grateful and can't wait for season two! Ps: after watching Frieren and knowing about Evan Call, I discovered that he also composed for Violet Evergarden, and I could't help myself but to go watch it straight away. Damn! That show is such a gorgeous masterpiece but also painful to the heart 💔. I loved watching both series so much 😊

Never watched the manga, don't have time to watch series, but hearing the first two songs on this playlist made me tear up. The whole playlist is quite good too. Didn't expect for a series to have such good music, especially a recent one like this.
