And if you've ever wanted to know how to make beef bacon, well, they've got you covered!
Whether you're a cooking enthusiast or just curious about where your food comes from, this episode will give you a behind-the-scenes look at the fascinating art of whole animal butchery. So grab a snack, sit back, and get ready to indulge in the mouthwatering world of Bolyard's butcher shop! Don't blame us if you start craving a big, juicy steak. Enjoy!

      He has a full time job as a professor so he has a lot of flexibility in the summer. That's been a key difference. Also other coop members provide labor and financial resources.

    Hi Tony! Curious what was the 2021 chefs favorite caprese tomato? Also, same question but favorite consumer heirloom? I'm starting my tomatoes from seed 1st time this year! 🍅👩‍🌾

    • @GroundedbytheFarm
      @GroundedbytheFarm 2 роки тому

      Hey Karen! Thanks for listening! Will get your questions to Tony so he may add an answer or if he emails me a reply I will bring it back. One thing I'll mention, I find growing hybrid tomatoes from seed much easier than heirlooms. They are bred for better stress resistance now and find it challenging already to grow from seed. I find the All-America Seed selections a great way to go usually. The group that over sees the selections visits all the seed companies and looks for plant growth and great taste! You can see some of the tomatoes they recommend here all-americaselections.org/search-results/keyword/tomato/search-in/product/cat-in/all/search-other/product You can also find various ways to filter... for instance, I love having a few containers on my deck. all-americaselections.org/winners/ and you can even find out where to buy the seed. jp
