Breakfast & Sapporo's BEST Coffee by the Riverside in Tokyo's Asakusa Neighborhood
Please turn on *cc* for subtitles :) Today we're having breakfast & Sapporo's famous roasted coffee at this super convenient location right by Tokyo's Asakusa area by the Sumida River. After breakfast we take a quick stroll by the riverside to see the SkyTree and Asahi building and pretty river scenery!
📍 Kohi - Kan Tosei Hotel Cocone Asakusa Kuramae (Coffee - Kan)
We got the same breakfast since the eggs and toast looked so delicious! We tried the two types of coffee, hot and cold and then couldn't resist a little matcha cup desert to finish off breakfast!

Sapporo Coffee Kan is a famous speciality coffee roaster and was Hokkaido's pioneer in charcoal coffee roasting! We both decided to try the Hot and Iced versions of their specialty charcoal roasted coffee. If you like Dark roasted bitter coffee (which I very much prefer) you'll really quite enjoy it! However if you prefer fruity acidic coffees they also have a few other flavors and types of roasts.

glad u had great experience. mine, shinjuku kubukicho chuo - was not so much. never again staying in any of their hotel chain
they always have fresh and clean towels for you every night you stay with them delivered to your door without you lifting a finger! very nice hotel to stay in
The owners of the APA hotel chain are famous for their right wing revisionist views regarding Japan’s involvement in WW2 among other things. They were also famously discovered to have faked earthquake safety checks in 2007 putting guests at risk. They insist on leaving the English language propaganda in each hotel room. If you are prepared to disregard all that. They have cheap rooms.

When I stayed in one of the APA hotels, it was around 7000-9000yen per night which is about $65-$80usd now
Yeah, APA hotels may be cheap, but their reputation is horrible. This chain is owned by right wing extremists who entertain revisionist history views. Their hotels have also faked earthquake safety data.
