Yeah, these cards are just situationally good enough to ruin someone's game plan. But the Great Aurora is truly annoying, because it means you're likely playing for another hour.

You can do the Chain of Vapor trick that pops up in cEDH sometimes. If you target somebody else's permanent that isn't a huge deal, they're kinda forced to continue the chain if there's something on field that HAS to go

They just make for interesting politics. That’s why I like them.

Realm breaker is their win con. You dump them all onto the board and take advantage of ubrask the hidden.

@Exile559 Assuming that you are using realm breaker, and Assuming that you have maskwood nexus in play it's possible to pull your entire deck of creatures in one shot, however you must hope that your opponents don't have a stifle or something similar to use or when you all out attack don't pop an exile all attacking creatures or something else that is potentially just about as nasty all of which could potentially easily be done for 3 mana or less, for example if they were to use certain green, white, and blue cards they could nuke your board for three mana or less and then you are stuck in a situation where you can't win under any circumstances. If you are wondering what I'm talking about, without any kind of infinite combo all of the following is very possible either together or separate for three mana or less, exile all attacking creatures, prevent all combat damage and redirect it to another target, prevent all combat damage, tap all creatures, tap all creatures target player(s) control, return all creatures to their owners hand, return all creatures target player(s) control to their owners hand, all players sacrifice all creatures they control, destroy all attacking creatures target player(s) control, destroy all attacking creatures, protection, and many other things that you might think of as being impossible or hard but for argument sake we will assume that most of you creatures are praetors before you use maskwood nexus, then for argument sake we will also assume that you won't have maskwood nexus out for most games, and the last assumption is that even if you have mana acceleration and you get realm breaker into play you won't be able to trigger it before turn 5 because while it is potentially possible to trigger it faster the odds of you doing this are very low. You are playing against 4 or more players in commander and your deck is a singleton so even with searching your not likely to get realm breaker out and keep it long enough for you to use it's fetch ability, then assume that you do every single player is going to go after you and it's very unlikely that none of them will have a way to stop you, not impossible just unlikely.

@@jedstanaland2897 that's a lot of what ifs. Jin gitaxis progress tyrant handles them. This is also assuming your opponent sat on mana open when you crack Realmbreaker. A simple Grand Abolisher with mask wood nexus makes your entire essay nullvoid. The whole point is to shut the opponent down entirely.

The og is better because anyone can steal it and it's still a problem only one of my decks could fully utilize monstrous raider. Anyone can use mana and everyone needs lands to untap
