Martin Luther did not break away from the Catholic church, he was excommunicated for trying to reform it. Also, our historical position as Lutherans is that we are not protestants, but are the Western Catholic church cleansed by the Gospel. Our traditional name is in fact "Evangelical Catholic." Minor point, but it really wounds me when people talk about Lutherans and only mention the ELCA.

Yes there are different denominations, and does anyone care that Christianity was persecuted for 300 years, then became accepted for a few hundred years, then persecuted again until this day, by Islam. When you know Jesus is God who is in our world, knowable, accessible and loveable by all people that is the true church. Let all the rest fall away, but the one Jesus is building, will last for eternity, and the Universe is a big place. No one in-between, you and God, as Jesus is the intelligible life force of all humankind. In both the Torah and Revelation 21, Jesus said, his desire was to teach each person from himself, and that important knowledge was lost. Yes there are different churches, even different religions but there is only One Humankind, despite different races, all people were made he and she in God's image and likeness to know He is in us and to experience God for ourselves and for the purpose of nurturing the world.

The three biggest mistakes I saw were the following: 1. Protestantism isn’t a denomination. Why put it up there with the actual Protestant denomination? Maybe explain Protestantism a little bit beforehand without claiming it to be a denomination in of itself. 2. Anglicanism, not Angelicanism. It connects to the prefix “Anglo” meaning English, not the word “angel”. Also, half of that explanation was shared by most other denominations. 3. Methodism was botched. As a Wesleyan Methodist, that took a toll on me. You first put a liberal symbol on there with the traditional symbol as if Methodism is the only denomination with a liberal branch. We do all follow sets of rules laid out by our denominations too, we don’t just play theology and revelation by ear, though Methodism is a larger mixing bowl of such things than other denominations. Y’all go watch Redeemed Zoomer’s videos on this stuff explained; it isn’t biased and it’s actually correct information.

I can explain the Reformed Church in the US in 30 seconds (not to be confused with the RCA). The RCUS is controlling and dictatorial. They want to control everything in the members life. You can be kicked out or disciplined for anything but if you want to leave they won't let you go. You only leave when they say so. It's total harassment and they are truly a cult. I was lucky to escape.

This ridiculous video is filled with lies and errors . AI cannot even produce accurate pronunciations. What are the biggest lies ever foisted on religious humanity is that the Catholic church is the oldest Christian Church which is a complete total lie and deception. The word Catholic is not even in the Bible and if Peter was the first pope, how is it that Peter was married? The True Church of God had to go underground after the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. However, the Catholic church is certainly mentioned in the New Testament if you read and study Revelation chapter 17 carefully about the "great Harlot that is drunken on the blood of the Saints". Think about what church is it that claims to be christian, but is responsible for the murder and torture of over 1 million human beings during the Middle Ages. ( Source: "The Inquisition on PBS"). I'll give a little hint: it is not any Protestant church.

My issue with the oriental orthodox church isn't going out of their way proselytizing their Muslim neighbors as much as they should. I know this because they're in the heart of the Islamic world. Since it's not resurfaced as Christian, this means to me they're not teaching Muslims the word of God.

The Immaculate Conception has nothing to do with sex. It is the conception of Mary, not Jesus. Mary was conceived in the normal way but by the grace of God, was preserved from original sin.

Original sin is not sex. it's the sin of Adam and Eve, i believe.
