Ur techniques are there and sound is on point as well, ur tone is also amazing. One thing you may want to work on is bringing out more emotions by lengthening some notes and also shortening breaks in between notes. (aka phrasing) Overall quite impressive for 2.75 years

HOLY THIS IS ACTUALLY SO GOOD WHAT like genuinely the only criticism i could possibly have is that the volume mixing of some parts might need a little tweak (like the piano in the opening section could be a bit louder), but that’s only if i’m being rlly nitpicky tbh. all in all this is actually amazing, and rlly nice to listen to. you’ve seriously got a knack for this stuff!

alright, so this is overall rlly good! the notes are pretty accurate to the og to my knowledge (i haven’t actually listened to the og before this, so could be wrong on that one), and the inclusion of more natural electric piano style instruments as opposed to the original’s more 8-bit retro aesthetic does wonders for the uniqueness of your cover. i will say though, the lead parts could be lowered in volume a bit, since it does seem like it’s overpowering the mix quite a bit. leads tend to be the focus of the piece, and especially considering that you’re trying to emulate a vocal track, having the lead be at a higher volume is good. but just make sure the lead isn’t too high above everything else, or it loses cohesion with the rest of the song and you can lose out on the listener appreciating what you’ve done with the background parts. also, the drums could use a little more of a deeper sound during the chorus sections, especially the one line you’re doing with the side stick (i assume that that’s what the kit piece is, but could be wrong). usually what i like to do to get a more accurate sound with percussion is to just bring in a few drumsets and have them overlay each other and use specific kit pieces that will blend together and resemble the original part better. it’s not a perfect strategy by any means, but usually it ends up being pretty impactful to the cover’s quality. i was going to mention that you could prolly turn down the release on the vocal parts since it seems like they could be causing a bit of dissonance due to lasting too long and being hearable into a chord change or smth, but high release can help with giving a human voice quality to the part by mimicking imperfections in voice. ultimately i’m not entirely sure if that one is good advice, so take it with a grain of salt or trial and error it to get a happy medium in your release. but yeah overall this is rlly good and very nice to listen to! and i get it can be disheartening to have no one comment on what you’re making, especially if you put a lot of effort into it, but sometimes that’s just how it be: algorithm is strange sometimes. all you can rlly do is keep making stuff and taking notes on what you can improve.

I LOVE this!!!! the beginning especially really gives it a great tone!! my only tiny minuscule complaint is that you could probably try and reduce the attack and sustain of the tuba/brass part as it doesn’t feel as punchy as the original but that’s just preference talking. you’ve got some talent man!!

this is pretty good, great job! i would recommend using some more instruments though since at 0:50 the strings and flute immediately switch to the lower pitched parts and kinda lose the impact that section of the song usually has. if you kept two slots reserved for the high pitch string and flute so that they can continue their melody in that section it would have a really good effect i think. you could also experiment a bit with echo & reverb since in the original the "piano" has some echo to it which helps make the sound feel a little more whole. other than that, this is fantastic!
