More of an experiment! The author of this build cut it to reduce dead draws going 2nd. He also assumed that going 2nd isn't improved much if they have other ways to OTK I disagree a bit because even with the downside of drawing Multi, Multiplication + Terahertz is almost foolproof cuz it OTKs with less materials than the other ways (2 materials vs 3). It's worth playing, but I will have to accept going above 40 even when I cut gamma 😆

I do my best! Not everyone has the time but the easiest way for me to learn how a deck works is when I'm in a losing game, I pay attention to their plays.

Oh definitely, I'm capped at 30 fps for the recording RIP and it dips while recording. I'll look into finding a way to make it less rough, there's likely an OBS setting I'm not aware of!

Noted! I've been off the coder package for awhile. It's the best way to protect superfactorial from hate like Bystials and Belle but one way around that is to make a bigger board that doesn't need Superfactorial to resolve. This could be the Singularity + Tera board or I:P -> S:P + Tera. I'll showcase the S:P combo sometime next month. The other way around that is people stop playing Belle and Bystials too haha, which is almost true outside of Superheavy Samurai and Branded. Another thing is that main deck slots are valuable when you run handtraps. Handtraps are not good until you play a lot of them (13 is what I consider a minimum but you definitely need more vs decks like Snake Eye to deal with them opening more than 1 starter). So when you devote 2 slots (Coder + Conflict) for a combo that works best going 1st it also has the effect of making your going 2nd strategy (handtraps) weaker. The other thing is that micro coder combos are slightly more vulnerable to imperm/veiler if your opponent holds them. You use Terahertz to send Micro Coder but you can't use Splash until after Transcode revives Splash. That means they can hold Imperm/Veiler for Transcode and you lose Splash revive for later, leaving you with 2 monsters (Transcode & Link Decoder) that can't go into Terahertz. Maybe I can make a video on this to make this clear!

@@MathmechGrinder yeah but its 1/3 chances to get a brick + the fact that u cant use him to make a baronne like you could with another deck make it a little bit bad for me. But well i'm less high ranked than you so i might be wrong and its good to play it. But still not full potential coz no baronne with it

Nah ur good, I completely understand the driver brick is tough. We have plenty of options to play over gamma!

It's very difficult, and there may be some moments where you may not see improvement at all 1) Find someone with more experience to go over your replays and discuss what you could do better. If you don't have the experience to point out your own mistakes yet, this is the most direct way 2) Often mistakes occur because of game mechanics such as SEGOC, missing the timing, Problem Solving Card Text. These fall under rulings, but I see them as a big investment in how to understand the game. This is not easy because it requires studying - which isn't fun. But after you are confident in Problem Solving Card Text or any of these mechanics, you can apply this to any deck you pick up. There's no shortcut for this unfortunately but these series of articles helped me out a lot: yugiohblog.konami.com/articles/?p=2906 3) Playing games to discover new interactions. People tend to learn through spreadsheet combos but they do not represent the game as well. Its a good starting point, but there's so many decks you can face with 1 deck that it's impossible to create 1 combo that deals with them all or to recreate situations where you are handtrapped. Often times we are thrown into these unfamiliar situations and have to adapt quickly and make a decision and it's these moments you need to pay attention to. Unfortunately, you end up getting punished for making one decision over another and you need to write that down or record that if it happens. This is the tough part because the most direct way to build a knowledge of interactions is to get punished a lot more than rewarded since you will not know what to do at that moment. This is where the community can either be helpful or not so helpful about these situations because they can either teach you what went wrong or make fun of you for not knowing everything about the game. The community tends to skew towards the latter option which is very detrimental to a learning environment. If this happens, seek people who are willing to talk to you about the game in good faith. These ppl will be your best resource. It's almost impossible to improve in this game on your own.

Hello! It is good practice to modify your list if there is a matchup you see a lot but did not account for. For example, in S25, I included a lot of answers for Superheavy but I felt like my Branded matchup was lacking. For the purposes of my video, I choose a list and stick with it. I don't make changes unless there's a new format. It's easier for me to learn from my mistakes at the end of the climb when the list doesn't change.

I'll write up something more comprehensive but Kashtira's really annoying - my main defenses are 3 Nibiru and 3 Imperm to deal with Arise-Heart but you can't go wrong with Kurikara / Kaiju either. I like these handtraps because they do not invite Unicorn to snipe your extra deck like Droll does. I almost never let them snipe me on their turn if I can help it! OTKing through Kashtira is tough as well, I rarely use Accesscode Update because of Shangri-Ira protecting itself. This is one of the matchups where if they leave a Unicorn in attack you can Terahertz send Multiplication and OTK that way!
