It says in the description but I’ll say here anyways. Both Submission and Enterprise agreed to follow The Smilers plans, Submission was first and he became marmalised too much and became unconscious in the dark forest. Then Enterprise believed The Smilers lies and was forced to be marmlised then Smiler killed her and left her body near the towers.

Here are some notable OCs he either marmalised or tried to (have to write them in replies due to UA-cam sometimes taking down long comments): Willow: Oblivion's gf, who he currently plans to break up with. I don't have a full backstory for her yet, but she wanted to be marmalised, as she had no way to otherwise be happy, and had it done before she and Oblivion even met.

Oblivion: My Smiler OC offered to marmalise him as a result of his traumatic childhood, but he refused, as he doesn't want fake happiness with a diminished sense of danger and feels like someone needs to be responsible, considering my Smiler OC has a diminished sense of danger himself, except he was born with it, instead of getting it from marmalisation. My Smiler OC found Oblivion's decision weird, as he sees it as "rejecting happiness", but didn't marmalise him in the end.

Nemesis: She was taken into an alien test centre and had harmful experiments done to her for over a year, and my Smiler OC tried to save her before that, but failed (Galactica was supposed to help him infiltrate the facility, but refused out of fear, despite having everything necessary to save her, and the two had an argument over Galactica's refusal to help her own sister and Smiler being reckless, but they made up in the end). When Nemesis returned, my Smiler OC was going to ask her if she wants to be marmalised, but got stopped by Oblivion, who had to explain to him that the last thing Nemesis needs rn are more experiments and marmalisation is not a good idea for her right now.

Also, the reason my Smiler OC is even marmalising people in the first place is because his parents lied to him that Oblivion is "ill" just because he isn't silly and happy like the rest of the family, my Smiler OC asked them why, and they didn't want to take responsibility for their actions (they pushed their responsibilities onto Oblivion when he was too young just because they didn't want any themselves, while still expecting him to be silly and happy, then they favoured Smiler). It also lead to my Smiler OC writing "ill" on a primary school worksheet under every negative emotion, while labelling the positive ones correctly. The teacher got concerned and told the parents, but all they said was: "How dare you teach our perfect little angel to be sad?!"

I maybe should of explained better but, once they become marmalised Smiler can make them do whatever he wants so he makes them die in ways no one will know he did it.
