There's definitely a lot of books! I have 20 for Star Wars, including books for movies, shows, games, animations and more. They never disappoint

Sequel books tend to focus on what's new, as there was over 300 pages in the artbook for the first movie. There's always less focus on what's already established

Ah yeah, I have that line in all of my video descriptions, I should change it for a few the videos really. Hoping for a new game and artbook though, so people will have one they can pick up!

Agreed! I feel like we will see a port or remaster before a new game, but I could see another studio making something. Guerrilla are tied up with multiple Horizon games unfortunately

I was planning to do a form of award video, but was unfortunately tied up and then not well, feel like it's too late now 😂 but I did post an awards thread on a couple of social accounts and hope to do different content in the future here

I wish! There's a lot of storage boxes and tetris involved 😂 The UK weather isn't kind to books either, so it would be very expensive to not only shelve them all, but regulate the temperature/ humidity to keep them in the best condition possible. Storage boxes are surprisingly good at keeping them in good condition. That would be a dream video to make though, I'll keep buying lottery tickets!

I picked it up at release and it was around £40/ $50

I'm still waiting on a book from November as it was out of stock on release 😫😂 But it's going to be new to me when it arrives, so late isn't the worst thing!

CDPR are a pain with these books, they did the same with The Witcher 3 and only included the artbook in the collector's edition. Sorry you missed out, I almost did too, but found someone that had to sell their gaming collection and didn't charge too much. But now we know for their next games!

The slipcase editions are the only editions for those books unfortunately, so that is the standard price. Are you in the US? The price on this book for the standard edition is much lower

@@TheArtbookCollector I am and you are right about there only being the slipcase editions listed for the upcoming releases. Interesting choice. As much as I've enjoyed all the post-Endgame artbook releases, I do feel like the market was getting a bit oversaturated from sheer quantity, so maybe they're trying to offset the price from when these inevitably end up available at discounted rates.

@jadekite22 I honestly think it's just greed. They don't promote their artbooks, if they did they would sell better and make more money. Instead, they opted to make the price insanely high and hope they make more that way. The books published by Marvel have been a mess to be honest, no promotion, constant delays and some being forgotten about entirely, but still listed as unavailable. This book was done by Abrams though, much better as a publisher

I do love Abrams and think this serves as a good summation of the previously-released Marvel art books if, like you said in the video, the reader is mostly interested in the character design. I would say a few of the art books, like Wakanda Forever and Moon Knight recently, the world-building contributions are worth getting those.

I'm a big fan of the DreamWorks books too, still waiting on my copy for The Wild Robot

Thanks! The reviews have taken a back step at the moment, but they might return. They were 10x more work for 10% or less of the views of the flip throughs. So I will look at what else I can do 😊 I'm also looking at a potential website too, with reviews, news and updates, so exploring options!

Thanks! I know people liked them, it's just about finding the right content that makes the best use of time, while being useful to as many people as possible. So I'll look at what other types of video I can do, maybe more like the comparison video I did for The Avengers artbook. But we shall see!

I have too many favourites, artbooks for God of War Ascension, Cuphead, Mass Effect, the MCU movies, Psychonauts 2, Doom Eternal, Fallout 4 and many more are all great, it's hard to narrow it down. I've been collecting for almost 15 years now, I wouldn't buy books for videos, that would be a fast way to lose money as it's not a money maker, so you have to do it for the love. It depends what fantasy you like, there's books for the Thor movies, Darksiders, God of War, The Hobbit and Diablo that are much better than the Elden Ring books. But there are a lot out there, best to look up franchises you like and see if they have a book

@TheArtbookCollector Do you have the dark souls art books. Are they any good? Also are you an artist yourself or just a collector of art?

I have all 3, they're OK, better with other space than the Elden Ring ones, but still lack text. The second one is on the channel. I did some art at school, but I fell in and out of it, so I just doodle here and there at the moment
