We are definitely playing better and more attractive football now, and creating good open play chances. Fair play to Boothe and Marv for rising to the goal scoring challenge, 6 in 2 games between them. Some tough away games in February so this is an important win to ease any relegation fears. UTR!

What was the attendance

Good performance last night, there seemed to be more emphasis on possession and building attacks which is great to see. Both debutantes did well and the squad seems to be gaining shape and depth again. Obviously need a striker but both strikers did well to be fair. Good to see a couple of young lads come on too, UTR!

What a flaming result at 💪 😂. I said in my comments in the highlights for the Hitchin game, we could beat Kettering and I have never been so pleased to be right 😊. I keep saying keep believing, keep working hard and things will turn round in our favour 😅. This is without doubt the best result of the season so far. Don't know whether to laugh or cry. Just KNEW JJ was the next player to leave and was going to score today. It's all good talking about feeling pride for him/ going to better things etc etc, but that's it-he's gone now. Reminiscing about him isn't going to give us 3 points every game. Stability is what the team needs-maybe a bit of loyalty as well? I can't change who i support. Close bond?? No comment. Stop making it feel like we're a stepping stone to better teams. We should be getting players wanting to come here rather than bringing in a loan player to fill gaps.

Huge win and huge performance today. The two debutantes in particular were impressive but the whole team showed real character today. Well played lads! Gutted to see JJ go, I'm sure all Reds fans will be keeping an eye on his career. The fact he played today, and played so well, says a lot about him. Huge game against Barwell next Saturday, a win would open up a 9 point barrier to the drop zone. The big question is without JJ where are the goals coming from? Time for one or two of the strikers to step up! UTR!

This is a very honest interview from Matt and Kyle, and as a lifelong Redditch supporter i really appreciate that honesty, no excuses. It was another disappointing result 😢. We have a young and inexperienced side who are on a massive learning curve,many coming in on loan from lower league teams or from academies at professional clubs and in the early stages of their careers. They have talent, but at the moment on a poor run they are not believing in themselves and not enjoying their game.😢. This may sound daft, but Saturday we have no pressure on us, everyone is expecting Kettering to win, I'm sure they will bring a big following and it will feel like a home game for them and their fans will be up for it and expecting to win, i don't blame them if roles were reversed we would be the same. So lads go out their keep giving everything as you are doing, roll up your sleeves, fight for every ball, when you lose it go back and get the 2nd ball etc, and get that telling pass into the box and think about your passing around the pitch, and pounce on their mistakes,and hopefully we can get that bit of luck, and most of all enjoy your game. Keep believing in yourself and you will get your just rewards. This league is so unpredictable this season and anyone can beat anyone,can we win on Saturday? Yes we can 💪. Agree with comments below - David and his team deserve lots of credit for they way they are bringing the club forward. Just hope we can do better on the pitch to keep folk coming .....

As we know we were 2 up inside 20 minutes and should have been 5 up, even at 3 v 2 and 4 v 3 down we still created chances. We just need that bit of luck in front of goal, and then confidence will grow. What no one can accuse the team of is a lack of effort and commitment,they are giving absolutely everything and for me I'm proud of them. It will come good we are only 7 points off the play offs despite a poor run of form going back to November 16, which sums up this league. We are Redditch United and we must stay UNITED one and all. Load of shite hes a fraud

Me being a Lowestoft fan and being at the game, both teams put in a hard battle and I was more than happy with a draw away, Redditch were tough to break down initially and they conceded an unlucky second goal to the benefit of us.. What a game though... Both teams deserved every part of that game but luckily for Lowestoft we came out on top. By far one of the best games ive been able to witness in a while and for all non league teams, all i can say is, thats why we love football. Wins/Loses, the main thing is that all the teams are fighting and it puts a great spotlight on non league football. Great performance Redditch.

So we are now in a relegation battle and it sounds like we'll have no further investment in the squad. We need probably 5 wins from 18 games. We've won 1 in last 10. Going to be tough but achievable if we all pull together.

This was a difficult result to take 😢, it's a sickener to score 3 goals and lose. Making basic errors is costing us dear. We are a very inexperienced, young side who are on a massive learning curve at step 3. As fans we will keep the faith, we just need the players to keep faith in themselves and be focused on what is happening on the pitch. It is clear you are giving us 100%, but at 2 v I it was clear we needed that 3rd goal and to concede on the stroke of half time to get them level was a disaster, and gave Lowestoft that massive lift and belief they could win, and even when we went 3 v 2 up I still had that feeling they had more in them and had confidence they could win and sadly they did 😢. We are on an 8 game winless league run going back to November 16, that's a concern.Come on Redditch you can and will turn this around BELIEVE 💪

Team worked hard today especially as it was backs to the wall for long periods. As long as it's 1-0 we only need to take one chance which thankfully JJ did! Need to work on keeping strikers closer together though, JJ is isolated at times and can't do it all himself. Good point though, we'll done lads!

The list of quality players we've lost that he mentioned says it all. Going to be hard to compete unless some serious recruitment is done. Easier said than done, but we will continue to slip down the table if not.

In front of goal we never really stretched the goalkeeper playing well and not winning will not bring points

Definitely need more pace and skill up top, teams know if you stop JJ you stop Redditch. Need another live wire type to give teams more to think about, we are one dimensional in midfield right now.

Well all we can say about this game is that both sides were lucky to get nil and it's 90 + minutes of your life you won't get back 🥱. However a couple of positives we are going to Bishops Stortford and coming back with 3 points 😂, and Tia, excellent video in awful weather 👍.
