Hello. How can I buy this kind of pot?
Up to 80cm you can buy such pots in our shop: www.bonsai-shop.com/en/bonsaipots Bigger pots - maybe you must import it by yourself. Or ask an importer in your neighborhood to help you with import. In normal shop such big pots are rare to find.
Hello. How can I buy this kind of pot?
This dragon pot had small imperfections. That's why I decided to throw it in the trash. But I will try to make a new dragon pot every year. Where can you get it ? Right now at: www.bonsai-shop.com/en/bonsaipots/premium
Congrats Sir DotPot and thanks! What is missing from the collection is size 28-30cm oval, in colors steel blue or sand brown, yellow brown for acers! Think of it I will wait! 🤩
Really appreciate you showing the extended time of styling. I have just gotten into the Dawn Redwood, Coast Redwood and Giant Sequoia trees. Thanks very much for your time and information. 🤩

Excellent work! I have many of your pots most of them steel blue and sea green colour. The latest ones of light brown with the yellow base are one of a kind masterpiece! Congrats and thanks! Kindly note that if we could find more oval pots of about 26-30cm with these colours for acers, would be a dream!
Many thanks for your positive feedback
Thank you for the information Sir!
You are wellcome
Hi Thomas - you can get most of the tools in any online pottery shop (I buy from Keramik Kraft, Carl Jäger, Wolbring, for example). You can get small items cheaply from Temu. Video about tools: Maybe later, e.g. about the sheet metal angles for smoothing edges. I'll be back in China in September. I'll be filming some potteries in Yixing, about the production processes of the various techniques.
Hello I was wondering if you can purchase the template
I will make another video on how to make the templates and a master template. It will be ready in 1 week.
Excellent content and so informative, THANK YOU!!!!
I am glad to hear that it is useful

Я бы тоже занялася лепкай, даже есть идеи.
Здорово, ты сам сделал Дракона? Очень здорово
Der oktagonale ist aber hexagonal! ;-)
Sorry - du hast natürlich Recht. Ich werd langsam alt ;-)
can you give us some evidence when you say people think Chinese bonsai is of poor quality.. where did you get this perception from.. Bonsai originate from China.. you are spreading hate.. you are only propagating what the collective west wants the rest of the world to think of China.. this disgusting on your part..
Regarding your question: We have been selling bonsai to all EU countries for almost 25 years. And we have been importing all our bonsai from Japan and China directly from the countries of origin for many years. In most years 1 container from Japan, 1-2 from China. As I select the bonsai in these countries myself before importing them, I have a very good overview of both the quality of the bonsai in Japan and China and the customers' opinion of the quality. I can see that our customers usually rate bonsai from Japan higher than bonsai from China. This is probably because most customers have no idea about the reality in Japan and China. They only see the trees in Europe. And here in Europe, the cheap trees are mostly from China and the high-quality, expensive trees are mostly from Japan. This is partly due to the fact that many bonsai from China (e.g. pines, junipers) are not allowed to be imported into Europe. Of course there are also low-quality bonsai in Japan. And there are also very high-quality bonsai in China. For example, you can see very good bonsai in the Shanghai Botanical Garden. And you can also see many very high-quality bonsai in China in the video. I will keep it short: I made the video to show that there are also good bonsai in China. And - mid of september 2024 I visit China again and after that trip I will upload a video about the bonsai in the Botanical garden in Shanghai. So - relax a little, watch the video again and next time think a little before you criticise someone so harshly.
👍
🤔🤥😮
Do you think having a bargain section of damaged pots for sale in which the customer knows he/she is buying damaged pots for a cheaper price a bad thing for your business?
No - this makes no sense in my opinion. An example from the car maker business: If a luxury car maker like Ferrari sell cars with little problems it will loose all other customer in a short period of time. Because nobody will trust the brand if they are doing such things. But don't worry: I think in the next years the rate of mistakes will drop down. We are beginners.

Hi ! Did U plant all the fruit or only the seed on to make another Cotoneaster ?
Thoroughly Enjoyed watching you CREATE this Beautiful Beast!
Fantastic 🌳💮 azalea is my favourite bonsai tree. Do you have a website and do you post trees to the UK please?
Yes - we have an online shop (bonsai-shop.com). But - I am sorry - after brexit we do not ship to Uk.
One of my dreams is to build a bonsai farm 😂 and pottery
I have done both and never regretted it. If it is your dream then I would like to encourage you to take the first step today towards making it a reality.
#tessethinigs wow HALLELUYAH PRAISE THE LORD
How old are they when they get imported from Japan?
It is very difficult to give you an exact answer. When I choose bonsai in nurseries in Japan, they have already been cultivated in many other nurseries before. Usually no one can tell me how old the trees are. This means that the stated age of most bonsai that you can buy outside of Japan are rough estimates.
Beautifull frend good job 😍👍
i need help in pottery for bonsai i really need to know the type of clays and cone to fire them.
At the moment I use clay which is frost resistant after firing at 1200-1220°C. As far as I know it is cone 5.5 to 6. The glaze melt at the same temperature. I fire the pots in an electic kiln or wood fired kiln.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge! Could you tell us what is the last layer after kanuma soil?
The soil layer on the surface we add only for the color. We don't like the color of kanuma. The surface soil is a mixture of peat and expanded slate. Another advantage is that this layer hardens better than Kanuma. This makes it easier to pack and ship the bonsai in a parcel without the soil falling out of the pot.
Thank you very much for sharing this.
If the video was useful for you, I am very happy
You are really a master
Dear Paolo - thanks for the compliment. But I am making pots for 1.5 years. To become a master I need 30 more years. To long for me - I am 61 ;-)
I have one large bonsai pot but I’m growing plants to attract hummingbirds not trees
How many lbs/kg of wet clay?
Heike normally don't measure how much clay she want to use. My estimation for such pots is 500-600g per pot.
Very beautiful pots. Are they available to purchase online?
Yes - if you live inside EU you can buy it in our shop (for english the URL is www.bonsai-shop.com/en/bonsaipots/premium). For outside EU we will launch a second shop end of 2024 with only the pots.
Nice work, thanks for sharing your knowledge! I'll wait these trees to be at the online store.
I am sorry - but the trees are sold out. I need for this video more than 1 year to show the results. Before I had time to upload the video customers bought the trees.
@@DotPotCeramics Good job, I'll wait the new import then 🙂

Wow! Just wow!
Work lefthanderd realy good😍... Im to.. Lefthanderd forever💪👍😎
Existe algum site da loja
No - as far as I know there is no online webshop in europe where you can buy such big pots. You only can buy that directly from china in full container.
Will this be uploaded in English? The thumbnail looked fascinating. I would’ve wanted to see him model a dragon.
Dear William - the video has english subtitles. I hope this will be acceptable for you. I try to upload most of the videos in english. Some (not so important) will be in german. This is more easy for me. 1 video in 2 languages - maybe it is confusing. But the more fundemental videos (bonsai pot making, bonsai styling) I will try to make it in english. I hope you can forgive me for some videos in german ;-)
@@DotPotCeramics no problem. I’ll just ask some 8 year old to show me how to use my phone. LOL.
