Does this T10 movement have "metal" escapement, balance, mainspring? Does it have "Silicon" escapement, balance, mainspring? How were you able to achieve 70 hours run time otherwise with all metal parts? How different is it compared to C07.111? Plastic parts like the Powermatic80 C07.111? I need to know these answers before I purchase one. Thanks
Dear Zash, The T10 movement has been engineered and developed by our in-house engineering and production team. Design and construction are made from scratch and do not base on any existing standard movement. Therefore it is different than CO7. The movement is completely manufactured in Switzerland. We source all movement parts from carefully selected suppliers which are located nearby to our headquarter in Grenchen Switzerland. The assembly of the movement is made exclusively in our own workshop. Best regards, Titoni-Team
@@titoniwatches So no answer to how you achieve the extended power reserve? So no answer to the question of is it achievable because of plastic parts or silicon parts? Hmmm.
@@zash008 From the knowledge I have so far, the in-house Titoni movements are larger than ETA and Sellita movements, which might have helped them install a larger mainspring barrel. Despite silicon's advantages, silicon is also brittle whereas the other metals are more robust, silicon parts help in anti-magnetism but do not help a lot with the power reserve. If Rolex and ETA can make their movement's power reserve of up to 75 and 80 hrs respectively with the same movement diameter, then why can't Titoni make a larger movement with a long power reserve.
