Ya know, I’m so bloody sick of the discourse over someone’s voice. I love the Bunnymen so much and I have to read all this crap every time I watch one of these videos and it’s ridiculous. Ian sounds quite good here and people just always want to say something about him. I don’t get it. He’s older right and he’s even older now than here and he’s still singing. And touring all the time, you go on and sing for a flippin hour yeah and tell me how it goes. As another singer, I’ll tell ya it’s tiring. Give it a rest already, they’re incredible and important to post punk and new wave. Have some respect. Try to be kind, it won’t kill ya. I adore Mac full stop.

I had known Pete since we were 14 yr olds and stayed close ,if you noticed there are moments when the band all play around Peter as if they are jamming at home rather than live on a big stage, I found it moving because that happened with every group he played with ,even way back...I don't think it happens that much ❤

Hammersmith Palais the bunkers of sandbags and camouflage exploding with stroboscopic blasts and the band were totally on fire.83 I think.

Remember seeing them live back in 1985 in Boston Massachusetts, used to try to dress just like him go to the used clothing store and get an old Tweety blazer, they had cool old school clothing back then in the '80s

I saw the Bunnymen in 1985 and it was one of the best gigs I've ever attending. It was ethereal, magical. This? This is like a bad Oasis tribute band doing a bad set of Bunnymen covers. The band are ok, just about, but Mac sounds like pure shit.

Greatest band in the world....always was and always will be, no question. Today's music has a lot to learn. Will see if their still producing their drivel in 40+ years or just concentrating on their royalties.

Peak of their powers here, Pete best drummer ever even Larry mullen Jr said in an interview once that Pete was one of the best drummers he ever heard.

I love them to bits but love the Banshees more of course. Once Steven Severin said the Bunnymen did whatever the Banshees did first and now I believe it. This seems a little Dreamshow-y to me. Silly rabbits! 🐰🐇

Who is this drummer?

Back in the day with me being a massive stranglers follower but several of my mates where into the Bunnymen so I soon started listening in. Songs like the cutter seven seas, killing moon ,you got to give the bunny men the credit they deserve class band

Saw the Bunnymen at Royal Albert Hall in 1986 ( Greenpeace Benefit Concert) they were superlative,hard- edged ,really,really gave a magical performance.I think the Bunnymen have always been one of my favourite bands .They are incredibly sophisticated where U2 are brash and bumbling.

Unique sound. Creative brilliance. There are times along the way when I consider The Bunnymen the greatest band I've ever heard, without question.

Hate the way he sings "The Cut ta !". woeful...band sounds great.

Never liked this line-up. Michael Lee (RIP) had none of Pete de Frietas' feel, and I really miss Les on bass. Will does a great job keeping the flame alive. They keyboard player is dreadful. What Are You Going To Do With Your Life? was just not a good record.
