England Euro 2004 Exit Montage BBC

BBC's montage of England at Euro 2004 after getting knocked out in the Quarter Finals by Portugal. The song is Unwritten Natasha Bedingfield James Neville Cole Campbell Terry Beckham Scholes Gerrard Lampard Owen Rooney
Absolutely love how seriously the England team & management are taking it at half-time... That's what makes the concept work, what makes it so entertaining - it is sport. You don't want to invite celebs who think of it like acting, such as the guy who wore the comedy outfit one year. To make the game entertaining, every player needs to be respectably good. I feel embarrassed for retired pros watching them try to put on a show with players like Alistair Campbell or Mike Myers. British people love football - you can't fake it. When it's treated with respect as sport, this is a wonderful event.
1:17:08 in, I think Gazza's annoyed with Jonathan Wilkes for not giving him the ball several times.

Impeccable vibes at Euro 2004
Gordon Ramsey, Maradona, Pierluigi Collina.... too much temperament on the field...😂😂 Thanks for upload this match.
Still Don’t Know Why Campbells goal disallowed, definitely should have been given
It might come home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So nearly did 😢
@@kbkeeper3093 😭
@@ay613Not again 😢😢😢
@@qaibahobbit5721 Southgate out
Rooney was by far and away the best player in this tournament for me. If he had not got injured I ferl England may well have won the tournament
Really hoping the current team can avenge 2004!
I remember this well thanks for taking the time to upload it.
i was 8 when this happened. 2 months before my club (west ham) lost the play off final then England lost to Portugal so it was a difficult start to my football supporting life!
Can’t stop watching it excellent
Perfect
You're an absolute legend for uploading this. The tournament was so special. I was 13 at the time. I was so heartbroken for England!
To this day I still believe England would have won this tournament had Rooney not got injured, or Campbell's goal not been disallowed
@@kbkeeper3093 That Campbell goal should have been given in my opinion
@@rohithraman6488 yep for sure
@@ay613 That was our best chance at winning the Euros. Hopefully we will have better luck this year
@@rohithraman6488 Well all rests on this week's events. Generally starting to feel great anticipation.
I remember a few days after this I got her CD and I have been looking for this for years! Thank you for uploading. Horrible way to crash out against Portugal but this montage was great. Then of course, there were some amazing moments during the Athens Olympics at the same time, I miss these days.
I actually missed this game as I was away on a camping trip at school, but my parents recorded it on a VHS tape for me. The montage was great but never saw it anywhere on the internet. Only recently managed to digitize the tape and upload it here. 2004 must have been a great year to be from Greece! Hosting the Olympics, winning the football Euros and the European Song Contest
Audio?
keppers should never be that far out -.-
paul robinsons goal could easy have veen avoided.. watfords keeper was to far out.. if he had kept his line.. that would not have been a goal
Eventhough I support Liverpool I have got to admit that Tim Howard's goal was the best
the team got strikes but in the end goakkeeper the one who goals~
Begovic now
Look at the date
Begovic's goal was in 2013
thats why i said now he can now be added to the list thats what i meant
tim howard dident notice and hes like wait i scored
The Watford one reminds me of the Begovic one anyway.

Out of respect for the Bolton goalkeeper.
