Watched this in elementary school

I plugged my UK PAL Saturn into this same model tv and it didn’t jitter like yours. The problem with the screen is it is very low resolution, and you can’t adjust the picture very much. Even on the most balanced brightness level it pretty much washes out the greys. On Daytona USA, the road looks white. You also have to have it at the right viewing angle. Having said that, it is a neat idea. I do wonder if there were other pocket TVs with better screens and AV ports where the picture was sharper and more adjustable.

So these are the men responsible for hours of immense joe and love for one of if not the best game ever made in my opinion, all I can say is thankyou

When I was a kid in the 2000s I would watch this on Disc 2 of the Spider-Man 2 DVD, one of the discs had the E3 2004 trailer for the game on it as well so I liked watching that too. Both of these got me hyped to play the game, so a few months later, I started playing the game, and this game was really impressive for its' time. I think even nowadays if you can go in with an open mind and play the game as if its' 2004 you'll be able to see how revolutionary it was. The graphics looked realistic at the time, although the graphics have definitely aged. Despite the dated graphics though, the actual design of the city is still amazing to this day, it felt like the closest depiction to IRL NYC until Spider-Man PS4 came out. Just overall, the fact that they were able to make an Open World NYC with Spider-Man and have webs actually attach to buildings back in 2004 was very impressive. Them getting this right the first time around really makes the TASM 1 and 2 games inexcusable, you can definitely tell that those games were rushed so they wouldn't miss the release date of the movies. Spider-Man 2 was basically the first real Open World game that wasn't a GTA game, so it paved the way for other non-open world GTA games, and the impact of Spider-Man 2 is still felt in other super hero games to this day since the Arkham games and Spider-Man PS4 took inspiration from Spider-Man 2. Even the plot line of this game was pretty good, it was cool to re-enact the battles against Doc Ock, and even the stuff that they added on the side like Black Cat and Mysterio were pretty cool as well. I fully admit that even in terms of gameplay, this game is definitely dated now, not only because of the Insomniac Spider-Man games, but I think even back in the day there were better Spider-Man games than Spider-Man 2, those being Ultimate Spider-Man and Web Of Shadows, but I can still enjoy the game for what it is and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

I hope I'm not bullied by this remark but to me THIS IS the quintessential Spiderman game. The first time you could literally go anywhere, do anything as Spiderman. I spent hours not even doing the campaign but just swinging around exploring it was that fun. And while it does follow the movie to an extent it tells it's own original bad*** story with 4 of his best villains from the comics So no disrespect to the PS4 game, but S2 will always be my favorite

So mesmerising even after all this time. I think it has to do with the soundtrack used for this documemtary. It has this larger than life anticipation feeling the documentary captured well. Has anyone ever tracked down what genre of music it's called? I haven't got a clue.

I don't have any nostalgia for this game, but I played recently and I love it, the swinging awesome, the combat is pretty fun, the only bad thing is the camera, but I guess a lot of old games have this problem. It would be really cool to see a remaster of this game.

And to think that these people made one of the most iconic Spider-Man games of all time. They really nailed the look (for the time admittedly, the graphics doesn’t age as well), and feel of being Spider-Man… and even now the game is just a joy to play.
