Let's unbox POP UP PARADE Hodaka Morishima from Weathering With You!
The figure was made by Good Smile Company under their toy line Pop Up Parade. This piece is made out of ABS and PVC standing at around 120mm height from shoes to head. Hodaka was released last August 2020 and was sculpted by Moineau. The paint works are mixed media. Some parts are done by machine and some were hand-painted.

Hodaka Morishima was born in late 2005 on the island of Kozushima to an upper-middle-class couple. He appeared to be going through a rebellious period in his adolescence, and his relationship with his father was strained. He physically abused him, dictated his behavior, and “chained him down” with his education.
Weathering with You ("Child of Weather") is a 2019 Japanese animated romantic fantasy film released by Toho and developed by CoMix Wave Films. It tells the story of a high school student who flees his rural home for Tokyo and befriends an orphan girl with the ability to control the weather.
Makoto Shinkai wrote and directed the film, which was commissioned in 2018. It stars Kotaro Daigo and Nana Mori, and features Atsushi Tamura's animation, Masayoshi Tanaka's character design, and Radwimps' orchestral score and soundtrack; the latter two previously collaborated with Shinkai on Your Name (2016).
The film was nominated for a number of awards, including Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards, where it was chosen as Japan's entry. It was nominated for four Annie Awards, including Best Independent Animated Feature, tying it with Spirited Away and Millennium Actress (both 2001) for the most Annie nominations for an anime film.
