I'm curious apollo. I recently posted a video. I was so proud while I was creating it, but watching it back... it sucks. Here are my notes (go watch the video then come back and see if ours are the same?) 1. there's no reason to stick around. I do not do a good job of convincing people that they will "miss out" on something big within the first two minutes. Rephrased for clarity, when you are two minutes through the video, you have no reason to stick around, other than to watch me on the ferry. When I was sitting down and said "sleeping is going to be a nightmare", I could've done a better job of setting up stakes. Maybe the stakes were to try and meet friends, or to try and get the best view possible from the ferry. All these kinds of options, but I missed out because I was lacking in the pre production of this video. It's something I *could've* fixed in post, but all my ideas came across as cheap, so I decided to focus on fixing it for next time. 2. the video itself isn't entirely interesting. So many people have survived 24 hours in different ways. People have gone through literal torture. So in that regard, this is nothing special. But for people in New York City/have been to nyc/going to nyc, maybe this is a fun way to explore the city. So it honestly might do better in search than on the homepage. Which is suboptimal for growth, but it's cool how it 'nests' 3. overall, there's a lack of purpose. this lack of purpose leads to a missing reason to stick around. and makes it difficult to stick through the whole thing, unless you know me curious to hear your thoughts!
