Swing Dance Bootcamp at ATOMIC Ballroom 2021
Located in Irvine | The Swing Dance community is a fun and energetic group that dances Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Charleston, Balboa, Shag, East Coast Swing, and Blues. These styles of swing dance are typically danced to vintage jazz, neo-swing, and big band music.

Do you have to bring a partner or is it random coupling?
Hi there! That's a question we get a lot, the short answer is no you don't need to bring a partner. We rotate in classes that way you will be able to dance with a number of people. But you should always bring a friend to class to take the class with you. It's fun activity to do!

The few steps you're seeing 37 seconds into the video are part of the Shim Sham, a dance routine that's often done where Lindy Hop is danced.

I'm really loving Ballet for Adults Melaina, And well I meant it Evan, maybe it might be time to do a Spotlight with you. Pase Doble or something! Can't wait for next year! Hope to be in other group showcases with Marleese, Irene, Andrea, Jimmy, and Instructors Evan and Melaina ( hope I didn't anyone out) and of course there's me.
