How do you know how many of which cards to turn around when you open a pack?

when i still see nonfoil cards on collectors booster it makes me really angry. 220dollars for a box and you still have the same usuals standard cards... ffs MTG

Hiya! I just want to say that I really appreciate that you take the time to show every card in each pack. There are many folks who just skip straight to back of the pack, so it's nice to see everything. Subbed!

I think that Bloomburrow is suffering in the singles market a little bit as it's full of mechanics that are (at the moment) quite restricted to the set. The best way to build a standard deck using it is to start with Bloomburrow and add in other cards to support the tribal archetypes. Given how most people seem to hold onto their decks and upgrade them at new set time I can see why these new mechanisms are really really enjoyed in limited play, but haven't yet found their footing in the overall landscape. That said, I _love_ offspring as a mechanic. If there are another couple of sets that build on Bloomburrow then everything will go up in price. Not that anyone should care.

i’m definitely picking up a collector booster eventually it seems i cna make back a decent amount of what i invest into a box and compared to yugioh a lot more of the commons are actually usable

Not a good comparison at all. You got lucky with the play boosters. If you didn't hit the 12/12 it would have been a dud. The collector boosters generally have value in each pack with less of a chance of a dud.
