Some sources are reporting that it works on their setup but we couldn't confirm this after testing on several different PCs. It should remove blood from the game. We've added it to this list because at worst it will do nothing and at best, it will work for a sizeable portion of users. --- Deprecated +r_drawparticles 0: is technically a command and not a launch option but it is known to improve performance (at the cost of graphics quality) by disabling particle animations. --- This is a console command and should not be here. -threads 7: See your number of cores in your cpu and go a number higher than that. I have 6 cores so i put 7 (Can increase fps) --- --- I agree! -high: Makes the game a high priority (Can increase fps) --- also can decrase. Hi, Is it best to enable vsync under nvdia control panel on fast mode? When I do I get pop up message when I load up cs2 telling me it’s best to enable vsync 🫤 should I have it disabled in game if it’s enabled on nvdia graphics card settings.

does anyone have this problem where i cant use 170hz on cs once i set the res to 4:3 it only goes to 60hz and if i put it to 16:9 i can use it again to 170hz why is that

I want to add that POWER MANAGEMENT MODE option in NVIDEA settings can give you more FPS if u leave it on OPTIMAL POWER in some cases. For me i get much h better performance when i choose OPTIMAL POWER.

-nojoy - is defualt now, no need for launch option -high - usually increases fps, but can also decrease +violence_hblood 0 - idk if it works or not, but blood is good info ingame, I wouldn't remove it unless you really struggle with fps +r_drawparticles 0 - not sure if it works anymore in cs2, but if it does it's good -threads - idk how cs2 handles threads exactly. In GO, different CPUs benefited from different values (sometimes 1 less than your cpu threads, sometimes 50%, etc). So maybe 1 higher is optimal for most systems, but I would recommend anyone using this launch option to benchmark before and afters, because it could also be worse.

-Threads depend on your number of p-cores and idea is to ensure CS2 doesnt use your e-cores for inefficiencies. Every processor has different cores so it is irresponsible to suggest a single number for everyone. 👎🏽

for everyone watching this, please dont do this. the ONLY one that is good is +exec autoexec.cfg and -threads X. The rest you can literally change in settings, and some of them are even cheat protected, some of them are default values anyways. So stupid to do this, as more launch options gives you less fps.
