私は空手と剣道の有段者ですが、剣の兵隊三人は踏み込みが遅く自分から間合いを壊してますよね。振りかぶって斬りつければ間合いを詰められますよ。 お互い極めた者同士の戦いであれば、間違いなく剣術が勝ちます。

It helps if slash where the guy is, instead of someplace completely different. This was pretty silly. The aim of these sword wielders was so off, that it's like trying to pee into the toilet, but it ends up in the sink. It's like going to a bowling alley, and your ball rolls into the next lane over... And then still misses every pin! It's like, playing Tee-ball, and striking out.
