Are Modern Gaming Handhelds Too Big?
I've been playing my handheld consoles more and more, and I miss the days when they were small enough to fit into a pocket. What do you all think, are modern gaming handhelds too big?

Why I Bought a Sega Master System in 2022!
Переглядів 8 тис.2 роки тому
Hey everyone! In this video I chat about why I bought a Sega Master System and some of my memories with the system, and some of the games I plan to get. This system always fascinated me, because we had one when I was young, but I was the only person I knew with one - everyone else had a Nintendo. Even today there's a lot of folks who don't know what it is, which is a shame because it's a great ...
Tunic Review: Why This Game Feels Nostalgic (No Spoilers)
Переглядів 9792 роки тому
In this video I review the game "Tunic" for Xbox One & Xbox Series, which I was able to play via GamePass, and it's also available on Steam. I discuss what I liked about the game, and how it captured the nostalgia of playing games when I was young so well. I know it may not be for everyone given the challenging puzzles and gameplay, but for a certain type of gamer I think this will really take ...

Amazing content! I need to do more collection videos soon on my channel.
I game also and have a redbeard. I stream nintendo games.
Great collection, you should make more videos love how you talk about the games very informative
The Switch size is the max I want to see, I don't want an 8-Inch screen that the Switch 2 is said to have. The screen size doesn't need to be any bigger, even the OELD is pushing it. I can even set my original Switch on a stand and use a controller when sitting at my work desk for hours at a time and have no problems seeing it while sitting a foot away.
Maybe the Odin 2 might be the perfect balance between performance and form factor?
Lol agreed bro, Steam Deck isn't really a "portable" device. Getting out to play on is a commitment.
Playing in the house why I love it but playing outside it's way too big
Hate when people do a collection video and dont even talk about the games. Disliked, sorry.
It would’ve been nice if you vlogged it
Loved the video man. I've gone from 6 physical switch games to 55 in the last few months haha. Got some ideas for my next games from your vid!
Hated it when I started…stuck with it and am now on my 3rd game plus.
Collecting Switch games has been my sickness for the last several years, 222 physical, 131 digital and 7 switches.... Lucky for me my wife has given up on trying to control me.
Surprised she hasn't dumped you to be honest.
@@wizzgamer true
Came here because of the May 2024 playstation plus line up. I'm exited!!
How’d you like it??
@@Kevintendo you were spot on! It was a really awesome and nostalgic experience!
Nice collection thinking about starting one of my own on switch as I'm mostly a playstation gamer
The way he pronounced "Meh-rio" just triggers me >.<
It triggers me that someone would be triggered by something so silly🙃
@@ErkkiPalmuIt triggers me that you have to comment about being triggered by the original person being triggered 😅
@jamiemoet9091 Fair enough😊
I got 130 games and love them all!
My dude, you have Danganronpa and haven’t played it?, that’s was heartbreaking to my ears! lol You are in for a *treat* is what got me into visual novels (although, no matter how many I seem to play, none can seem to top it for me) it is a great series though and through!
Just subbed great video
You should be sponsored by Nintendo ….. you are the best
meeerio :)
cool collection bruh
13:18 Oh boy, you're in for a ride watching Made in Abyss. (No idea about the game)
Nice collection dude, I’m also new the the Nintendo Switch and i have some of the games you have, again cool video.
I also am on the OLED Zelda switch but kept my OG switch. At the time I was about to propose to my girlfriend and the jewelry store had a deal where you got a free switch with the purchase of an engagement ring haha. I waited for a few months after proposing to tell my wife that story. Fortunately she was cool with it. I dont play the OG but I will never sell it because of that.
If you love 2d platformers you owe it to yourself to play the ori games they are some of the best 18:29
Dope video
@distroid2741 - Flashback 2 is up for preorder sir
Dragon Quest XI is pure love
It’s one of my favourites, such a great game. There was like a 4-5 week period where that’s all I played. I felt so empty when I finished it haha. Thanks for watching!
I just uploaded a switch game collection video. It’s under 30 seconds. I usually when I upload I do shorts. This is probably why I hardly get any views.
Hey! That’s wild - I couldn’t imagine trying to fit my collection into a Short, well done haha. Thanks for having a watch!
@@SammysGamingRetreat I deleted the video because I don't want to be robbed.
Massive collection man! But I see some interesting games you might like that you don't currently have, which gives me some ideas for a gift at some point. See you around man!
Thank you! Yeah, I have most of what I wanted to get - I definitely missed some releases. Thanks for watching and appreciate the comment!
Hello 🙂, have you heard of Nier Automata??? It’s in my top five Nintendo games
I have but haven’t played it - people seem to love it so maybe I’ll check it out. Thank you for watching!
how dare you diss Donkey Kong
Lmfaooo I just re-watched that part, that’s hilarious. Donkey Kong (shrugs) hahaha. Definitely some of my favourite platforming games are DK games so that makes this even better. I don’t have too much time in Tropical Freeze. In any case, thanks for watching!!
Nice collection I have 3 switches also.
Haha isn’t it wild how they just add up? I know so many folks who have multiple Switch consoles it’s wild - I suspect because it’s a handheld. Thank you for watching!!
“Endling looks cute” Wait until she plays it 😂
Haha if the beginning is any indicator she’s in for a wild ride. Thank you for watching!
Great Collection ❤ IT.
Appreciate it! It’s been many years in the making. Thank you for watching!
Do you use any app or site to keep track of your collections? I am just using deku deals for switch, but there is probably something better out there for all systems Nice vid. The story about playing FF7 and FF8 beside each other was adorable. Good luck with the channel. Edit:I hope you have some of the trails of games on ps4 since you don't have them on switch. Great stuff for a fan of turnbased rpgs.
I use a good ol’ fashioned spreadsheet to keep track - it’s not flashy, but I can access it on my device. This works great but the initial setup / load in is tedious. I have tried some other stuff but always go back to the spreadsheet. Thank you for leaving a comment and for watching!
@@SammysGamingRetreatcould you share an example on your community page of your organization excel sheet? Could be a good video idea also where you show how you use it.
What a wonderful collection!
Appreciate that! It’s been steadily growing since the Switch launch - I just kept getting games, and now here we are. Haha thank you for having a watch!
Thanks for the great video. BTW did you adjust the triggers on the 8bit doe controller. Because I feel it is not as responsive as the pro controller. 😝
Hey! No I just am using it how it comes out of the box - I haven’t noticed, maybe I don’t play games where that’s been an issue. I love mine so far. Thank you for watching!!
Great video and collection. Glad to see I'm not the only one double dipping on games. One of my favoriteSega games if you can find it a a good price is Fire Shark. Love that game.
Haha double dipping is a way of life - or so I tell myself when I look at all my versions of Resident Evil 4. I’ve never heard of Fire Shark - old Genesis games had the coolest names. Thanks for watching!
I love the Sega Genesis. It’s such an awesome system that eventually I want to go back and collect for. I don’t have a lot of Sega Genesis Games but my more expensive ones that I have: Rolling Thunder III (No Manual), Thunder Force III, McDonald’s Treasure Land Adventure, Aerobiz Supersonic, and Grind Stormer (No Manual). Either way Great Collection as always Sammy.
Thunder Force! What a sick name for a game. Great few games you listed there. A lot of the games on Genesis definitely have a specific feel - that era was awesome in that regard. Appreciate you having a watch!
Nice collection brotha man!
Appreciate that, thanks for watching!
@@SammysGamingRetreat no problem my brother! I'm slowly getting my physical collection going! So excited 😊
Please don’t say Mario like that lol 😂 just jokes. Good video!
Hahaha I’ve been saying it like that my whole life and now it’s just habit. One day I’ll say it how he says it, one day. Haha appreciate you having a watch!
Lol Marry-o
Thanks for the awesome video. I am also collecting a lot of switch games. Most of them are jrpg and vn, and some of them are from play asia . I think I have around 200.
Nice! I haven’t ordered from Play Asia yet, my imports were from local shops. Thank you for having a watch.
Nice collection
Thanks! Appreciate you having a watch.
When I was looking at the Atari 50 steelbook in Gamestop months ago, it was hard as heck to open the package....😂
Lmao I thought it was only my copy! Cool collection otherwise, but strange design choice to have the packaging so tight. Thanks for watching!!
fajne zobacz co ja nagrywam
Can you make a review video on the 8bitdo? Thanks.
Hey there! Yeah I’ve thought about it, it’s an awesome controller, I love it for my Switch. Thanks for watching!
I just bought one on Amazon. I got it for 10% off. Thanks for respond.
28:13 “600hrs of gameplay in three games” Yup that’s Xenoblade 😅
Haha yeah I played through the first one - took me a loooooong time, one day I’ll play through them all. One day. Thank you for watching!
Hi cool collection of games.I saw your golden plate necklace where you bought it from look very nice?
Thanks! Not sure - it was a gift from a very long time ago haha. Thanks for having a watch!
this is dream come true for me. so far i only have 27 physically games but i have lot of downloaded/ archived games
Thanks! It’s been years in the making haha. Wish I had time to play everything as much as I want to. 27 is still a lot of games! When I was growing up we had like 6 or 7 for our Super Nintendo. And digital games count - I see the appeal for sure. Appreciate you having a watch!
