Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (in Majmoo' al-Fatawaa 4/149): لا عيب على من أظهر مذهب السلف وانتسب إليه واعتزى إليه، بل يجب قبول ذلك منه بالاتفاق، فإن مذهب السلف لايكون إلا حقاً. There is no fault (blame) uopn the one who proclaims the madhhab of the Salaf, who ascribes to it and affiliates himself to it. Rather, it is obligatory to accept that from him by unanimous agreement, for the madhhab of the Salaf is never but the truth.

May Allah continue to aid and strengthen the dawah . 1) Can we take knowledge from shaykh Assimalhakeem and reasons we can’t. 2) reciting surahs of the Quran at the end of dua is it permissible? Saying in dua “by the honor of the prophet or Quran, may Allah accept our dua” is it allowed? 3) what is the ruling about witches, evil eye, people who practice magic and what should be a Muslim mindset about them?
