Having Some Fun with the Redcat Gen7 Pro
Переглядів 162 роки тому
Redcat Gen7 Pro, ESS 1 sound module. My first RC truck and I'm still learning how to navigate rough terrain. I've been flying RC airplanes for over 25 years, but I have to admit, this thing is more fun than I ever thought it would be. Enjoy the video.

2016 KLR650 Upgrades
Переглядів 8467 років тому
Short video on the upgrades I've made to my 2016 KLR650. Dirtracks crash bars, Givi windscreen, Nelson-Rigg bags, Shinko 750 tires, mirrors, and a 16 tooth sprocket. I forgot to mention that I also added a USB charger to the bike which keeps my GPS and phone going. Still haven't upgraded the skid plate but that is next on the agenda. I've put over 6,000 miles on it since December 2016. LOVE thi...
KLR650 - On the backroads of central Kentucky
Переглядів 3008 років тому
Riding the back roads of Mercer County, Kentucky on a 2016 Kawasaki KLR650. Nothing fancy, just a helmet cam view. The KLR has been called the "Swiss Army knife" of motorcycles. Others refer to it as a "mule". I tend to agree with both. The ride took me to the Kentucky River, near Shaker Village. It was a chilly 42 degrees and sunny. Notice the many stone fences are along the way. They seem to ...
Miniature Guitar Replicas - Handmade in Kentucky, USA
Переглядів 27 тис.8 років тому
Here are a few miniature guitars I built this year. I'm a fan of all things guitar, especially Les Pauls. These are not made from kits, but are scratch built one at a time, with real guitar hardwoods (mahogany, basswood, etc). All of the wood parts are cut and shaped by hand. I created the hardware using a 3D modeling software and printers. Most of the work was created in my solar powered tool ...

Six years later...are these still available? This are the coolest little guitars I have ever seen.
Oops, nevermind I just read the comments further down and saw that you didn't sell them. But great work man. Awesome work on all your products.
This looks like my boyfriends “Brown Betty”. He has lots of guitars but always goes to her to relax to
Not a how too...but awesome!~!
It would of been nice to see how youake the pick ups .
How did you make the strat bridge/saddles? They look perfect!!
He said that he make with a 3D printer.
is it possible make a working one this small
hey there! probably not. at least with my current capabilities.
@@kyman64 please could you tell me me what are the tools used in the video and how can i find them?
Have you ever made a Parker Fly or Parker Nitefly? Would love to see one of those and would buy one if available!
Great craftsmanship, kinda sucks you answer questions about mini knobs, pickups etc. I made an Explorer and a B. C RICH WARLOCK . Used whatever I could find in garage ie. Nailheads, cut and flattened at least200 Staples for frets. List most trying to find right glue. If I could only find real knobs.
Try pushpins. They work great for top hat knobs. I was using a 3D printer for the metal parts. I haven't made any of these in quite a while.
Or Ur just A giant 😜 This is the best quality i ever seen I would love ❤️ to see how U made it with the details 🎸
Hey could you please help me how can I get tiny acessories ?
Have you done the Dohickey upgrade? What about valve clearance adjustment (more of a maintenance thing, not upgrade). Wondering because I just bought a 2013 with about the same mileage as yours.
The are amazing works of art.. Beautiful..
Do you have a website or contact email, please? I would like to inquire about buying a guitar, please. I think I saw one I liked in your other video? Thanks!
Are they playable
Are these for G.I. Joes?
Hey, looks great. Have you made any Prince’s most iconic guitars? Madcat, Cloud, Model-C, Love Symbol? They are some of the most instantly recognizable guitars in the world (especially the cloud and the love symbol). I’ve seen others out there, but most don’t look like scale models at all in person. Maybe you could do a better job than some of the others.
You do beautiful work, MUCH nicer than Axe Heaven
THANK YOU!!!
@@kyman64 you are very welcome! I am a woodworker to some degree and they are amazing. Where or how do you make the knobs, tuning pegs, etc.? That is very cool. Do you sell them or is it a personal hobby only?
@@Deribinkle I make the guitar hardware with a 3D printer. I once considered selling these but they take very long to make. They would cost more than the real thing! I haven't made any for over a year. So for now, I just have them on display. Making the guitars led me down a totally different path. Here's what I'm doing now: GiftsForHeroes.Etsy.com
@@kyman64 Thank you for your service! Those are beautiful also! My dad was a WWII Navy vet.
Does it djent?
HA! I wish!
Great video can’t wait for my first trip this year
where at on Salt River ? I as a kid fished between Jackson pike and vanarsdale rd. have floated it as well.
That's EXACTLY where I was! Haven't been there in a while. I remember dragging the kayak through a lot of it!
Now only if these worked?!.
Fantastic
Where can I find mini plans like that? I make miniatures also and I just draw out of my head lol
Wow, dude, thats epic, I've done some miniatures of guitars too, but smaller, about 12cm (you can find Fender Mustang on my channel) and I know how time consuming it is. Love your tele, looks great.
Thanks for the kind words!!! Your Mustang is pretty awesome too!
You can see some other guitars I created here: ua-cam.com/video/cLlZ664WYiQ/v-deo.html
@@kyman64 wow, I really love those hollowbody Gibsons, you nailed it perfectly. I've got a question, how are you making those small strings? And is there big tension to wood? Because of my tiny scale, all my models haven't got strings. I think I'll never be able to put them on, this is too small work for some precision and i use only paper templates for shapes, all glueing etc. is by the eye so, bridge propably wouldn't be lining the freatboard. But I'm glad you like it. I've done some little relic work, it was fun and I think it added some detail to the model, you should try it sometimes :D
@@0liver_549 For the strings, I use various types of fishing line, painted silver. Very little tension, but enough the keep them firmly in place.
@@kyman64 allright, I'll try that sometimes, thanx so much and have fun with another projects!
Do U sell them
At the moment, no. But I am slowly building up some inventory to hopefully sell at a later date.
I'd be interested to know if you take commissions or sell any of these. I imagine they would be expensive but I would still like to know.
Thanks for contacting me. Contact me at troybrady@yahoo.com and we can discuss details.
Hello. I make 1:12 guitar miniature scale figures and open for commissions too. Check my channel to see my guitar minis. And mine are not expensive :) . Pocket friendly rates . Revert back if you’re still interested 🤗🌻
That is so cool. What are you using to burn that barrel? I think you're buring? Soldiering iron?
Hey Rick! Glad you like it. I'm actually using a woodburning tool from Walmart.
PRS?
Watched the two videos you have on carving the guitars. I have one question. What material do you use to make the hardware i.e. tuning pegs, bridge etc.
They printed with a 3D resin process

3 years later did you ever find out???

PERFECT Fast as hell tho.
these are beautiful : ua-cam.com/channels/nJ00z2-GKgHJOB7HDe7wVg.html
ładne , ale bardzo duże
Please make more video like this but longer!
are you selling??
Hi Monica! I am in the process of gathering equipment to get this going in a big way. Hope to be producing these on a larger scale very soon. Fall/Winter 2018??? Stay tuned!
Thanks for the info. Goodluck on your plans . Godbless
Amazing
You are amazing those guitars are super. But my English is not good can you write it please. -Where did you get the guitar molds?
Hi Selim! Glad you like my miniature guitars. These are hand made, no molds were used.
troy brady thanks but I mean in telecaster video you used a paper how Can ı find that paper:)
I just did a Google search for "Guitar Blueprints" and "Guitar Plans". There are many to choose from.
Nice bike! Looks like one of those motorcycles that could go almost anywhere.
These are unbelievable. Were they hard to make? How long does it take you to make one? I could've sworn these were from a kit. I noticed the strings looked a little slack on a couple of the guitars. What are the strings made of? Thanks!!!
Hey! Glad you like them. It takes me about 8-10 hours to make each one. Some are more difficult than others (like the arch top guitars). Good catch on the strings. I originally made the strings from a metallic thread. They work pretty good until you get a hot, humid day - then they go slack until the air cools and dries. I have since switched to very thin fishing line and it works pretty good.
Absolutely AMAZING! The detail is incredible! I can't see one detail that has been overlooked. This guy is gonna be rich.
Please upload the template
There is no template. These are handmade, one at a time. I downloaded technical drawings from a google search.
Very nice, at first I thought these were AXE HEAVEN guitars.
I just picked up some wood tools. Dremel, sander, router. Started making little tiny guitars, about 11 inches long. NOTHING LIKE THESE though. Have been REALLY confused on where to get stuff for 'em. So - on the 3d printer - those metal parts are actually plastic or something painted to be metal? Man - great painting, too. Guess I better learn how to use an air brush if I'm going to continue on this. Making my pickups and bridges out of wood right now. What are you using for the frets? What is that? Looks like solder or some such. Thanks for the video - inspiring.
Hey Rick! Thanks for the nice comments! As for the metal parts, I created them with 3D software (3ds Max) and sent the files to a business that specializes in high resolution 3D printing. They are made of some sort of plastic, but I paint them to look metal. Still haven't found anything yet to look like real chrome. This was my first attempt at airbrushing anything. It wasn't too hard, just had to practice on scrap wood first. I use some wire I found at Lowe's for the frets, nothing fancy. I hope you can post pics of your guitars when you finish them.
nice work, what about acoustic? playable miniatur guitar here: ua-cam.com/video/0amg8oIzv3E/v-deo.html
Wow, Troy! excellent, and I am a serious collector and I custom order mine overseas... yours kick ass! need to talk to you.
Thanks Ed!
One of the best thai i have ever seen man! apart, how did you get the tuners, bridge and metal parts? did you buy them?
Thank you! These are not kits, but are scratch built with real guitar hardwoods (mahogany, basswood, etc). All of the wood parts are cut and shaped by hand. I created the guitar hardware (the metal looking parts) using 3D software and printers.
Oh, well. Thanks for answer my question, have a good day!
