Drawing from biblical teachings, we delved into the importance of knowing oneself, understanding one's divine assignment, and committing to it wholeheartedly.
We discuss the significance of good works as an integral, inseparable, and invaluable part of faith.
The video highlights key expectations from God post-salvation, including walking in holiness, being fruitful in good works, increasing in the knowledge of God, and being strengthened by His power.
Join us as we uncover why good works are essential:

2. Being created for good works in Christ.
3. Serving as the salt and light of our nation.
4. Enjoying more grace and sufficiency through good works.
5. Reaping the benefits of good works in our lives.
We also covered practical aspects of good works, such as obeying God's commands, evangelism, loving one another, giving and blessing others, sharing opportunities, and encouraging one another to love and do good.
Watch this video to gain insights and practical wisdom for a more spiritual and fulfilling life.

In my opinion, canceling someone in a system because of a misconduct (not repeatedly done) would be wrong most times. Either famous or not, at any level of exposure or public acceptance, cancellation in a system is WRONG. As it was in the days of Jesus when He who would be the Judge of all the earth, publicly put to them that brought the woman caught in adultery "he who has no sin should first cast a stone at her." What was their reaction? They are shamefully went away - I guess the big men (Rabbi if present) would be the last to leave the place for shame. This is not to say that indiscipline and people's excesses should be tolerated in a system, particularly the church of God - assembly of CALLED OUT SAINTS (Ecclesia). My opinion is to say that appropriate resolution should be given as given by the Lord and in most cases, it would be such that the brother who has misbehaved is not cut out or thrown into public ridicule. The uncommon might be that God is exposing the person's perpetual backsliding of the secret in the open. And if God chooses to expose a matter, why conceal it? This is rare though.

I agree with Mide when she said cancel culture can be good or bad, I also believe that as a public figure ( spiritual), you need to be extra careful, even the Bible says, to whom more is given , more is expected. From the part of the canceler, think twice before canceling and from the point of the cancelee 🤣🤣🤣, be extra careful, make self control your partner so you don’t put yourself in situations where you start giving people reasons to doubt your faith or your stand. When the church cancels , sometimes it comes from the place of broken trust, and respect accorded to the person in question, but forgiveness is key and grace should be established.

  • @satisfilled2899

This canceling culture reminds me of when Jesus was to be crucified , he is a perfect example for this. The same people who Jesus healed, taught , did a lot of good things with them , they were still the same people shouting crucify him , crucify him. This situation still baffles me and that’s why I am not surprise when it happens in our present day, cos if it could happen to Jesus , then who are we 🤣🤣🤣. The Pharisees were the leading voice for the people to follow at that time, there was no individual decision which I believe people miss this day. We love to follow the crowd without thinking through and tempering justice with mercy. But at the end we all need a change of mentality and ideology, learn to be deliberate about our decisions, we could see in the case of Jesus, that many of these people regretted their actions when he was finally crucified. I will continue my comment as the series goes on 😉😉😉😉

Gems dropped but I don't believe the cancel culture is biblical. I believe discipline is different from cancelling and calling people out. As for discipline in church, I believe one of the approaches to use is report a person you cannot reach to the authority they are submitted to. They most times have the wisdom to better handle it, for the ones we can reach out to, we speak to them in private after seeking the help of the Holy Spirit. Remember, we are dealing with emotional beings that can perceive things in a million and one ways and we might not achieve the end result of change. Thank you guys for sharing your thoughts

God is our ultimate help , he is the only one we can 💯 be sure will sort it out, the Bible says woe to who puts his trust in man, you need people yes but you need God more. Trust God more than you trust people, so that when God raise people to help you , you will see it’s God and not because the person is willing to help.

This is the kind of diversion I like 😂😂😂. From birthday to understanding people , lovely. Well I will skip the birthday part cos I don’t think too much about all these things, when it comes I enjoy the moment and move on. I understand Mr Timi’s point of view when it comes to opening up to people or allowing people help you , cos it can be tricky. The truth is sometimes we actually need space , if I come to you and you can’t help, it might not be about you going extra miles for me, but it’s about me not wanting to escalate my problems beyond you, the other person might be able to help but what kind of person is he/she, am I sure the person will not tell someone else ? And then it becomes a community discussion. Let’s be guided sometimes sha 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Really enjoyed this conversation. I don't know how to say no myself and it comes from me having a big saviour complex. I always want to be the guy that helps people do stuff. I am learning to drop it now tho, cos a few times it doesn't end well for me(serious fatigue and stress) or the person (not meeting their expectations) and the fact that Jesus is really the one true saviour (everyone should go to him abeg)😪😂 My experience have taught me my limits and boundaries, so now I just do what I can and try to say no nicely when I can't.

Welcome back darlings💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 Mental health shouldn’t be something to joke with. The truth is, growing up i was not taught to be conscious or aware of my mental health and i just recently started paying attention to mine actually🌝🌝🌝. Facts remains that a lot can cause damage to your mental health and those lots are just right under your nose, Family, toxic relationships, personal/external stress like work etc. You just need really evaluate yourself , shift if you have to , I mean from negative vibes or any trait of toxicity, just make your mental health priority. Talking about depression, depression is an emotion and can happen to anyone, it’s just an expression of how you react to what’s happening around you. Should a Christian be depressed? No! Why? Cos the Bible says rejoice always, and the same Bible makes us to understand that In Jesus we find peace, in the world we have tribulations but be of good cheer, he has overcome. When you have a relationship with God and you know what the Bible says, it’s easy to move past any depressing thought, instead of dwelling in those thoughts, cry to God , take it up to him in prayers. Shalom my darlings!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
