Oh I adore you we must be related I'm in Nj,- NY area but Swedish and Scottish heritage. I have that fine hair. I use the retinol for women. There are two types here.bOne is Keritique it is often sold with shampoo, conditioner, and 3 small pump bottles of minoxidil 21/2%. I believe it was like a spritz. I prefer the actual foam minoxidil ( CVS sells their own version. It too is foam and suggested once a day to scalp as opposed to mousse which can be fully applied to hair. Their are warnings that appears to to suggest it is not good to used if you have had heart issues, feel heart issues, or if pregnant or near a new born. I would take that to mean young animals also. I wash my hands thoroughly after use to be careful but my hair is fuller.
