Yes, you can attach any 1/2" pvc fitting such as an elbow. Just remove the straight coupling at the bottom. Also, since the aerator uses a 90 degree threaded hose barb, you can rotate the entire device inside of the tank. Up to an angle of 50 degrees for a more sideways flow instead up straight up and down. Straight up and down just gives you the most gentle flow in the tank. If you rotate it, then it gives a more aggressive flow and much more circulation. That will also cause it to create more microbubbles.

All you need is a water pump that meets the minimum flow rate requirements. It will suction in the oxygen or ozone through the venturi. No air pump is needed

I am sorry, each microbubbler requires high pump pressure to function correctly and split air into microbubbles. A lot of customers are using the MacroMixer in their compost tea bins to oxygenate and mix. They require much less pressure to operate.

You can use any fountain, circulation or sump pump. We offer multiple threaded sizes but each one requires a minimum pump flow rate in order to function correctly.

For precision agriculture or greenhouse, has it been worth it to actually produce and injection pure oxygen vs atm air? I suppose it would be a no brainer if one had o2 waste from a large fuel cell power plant.

Get that goldfish a little goldfish helmet! 😉 It will have to learn to surf real quick with the MacroMixer. However, if that goldfish is in a tank that uses a Canister filter then it will love our aquarium aerator. It uses the Canister filters water pump to gently oxygenate an aquarium.

No need! 🙂The pumps used in the Multi venturi vs traditional venturi demo are 70w and 100w fountain pumps. Very little electricity needed to highly oxygenate a small to medium pond or large reservoir tank. The sump pump used at the end was a demo on the very large 2" micro bubbler, which is for industrial use only and very large water tanks. The micro bubbler is for dissolving gases such as pure oxygen or ozone in small amounts.

It can connect in several ways: On the return line from a canister filter, or sump pump. It can be attached to an internal circulation pump.
