In Mahe boardgame, each player moves a turtle around the island in a circle. Sometimes, a turtle can also be carried piggyback (or "turtleback," so to speak) by another turtle. Whenever a turtle reaches or goes beyond the beach area of the island, she lays as many eggs there as is shown on the topmost clutch card.
