No! You're doing this excellent book an injustice, so perhaps you've missed the whole ethos of the story - it's comedy - Three young men of some means, though not wealthy, are really only rather bored, so they make a case for a holiday, saying they're suffering from imaginary ailments. They're in perfect health and fitness, as you'll see by the story, if you read the whole thing, and not an abridged travesty. It's hilarious. A timeless classic story. It's a tonic, as laughter is the best medicine. 🤣
❤
Good video
Yay!?
I Loved it! ❤
this should have more views!

God, thank you so much for your free gift of salvation. Today is the day!!! I pray it over mankind. In Jesus name. Amen 🙏
Me Hyde is based, just saying.
"We are all the same." Rubbish.
hello, do the books include definitions of complex words?
Yes, they do :)
@@BlackCatEnglishLessons Yeah I got myself one already and they have more than that. Thanks!
For weeks I've been trying to get the key to "Robinson Crusoe" book to no avail since Black Cat does not care to respond to its customers. In the past, the service was always fast and I was satisfied with the level of methodological input in every book. Now, it's an exasperating experience. Shame on you!
Black Cat is truly disappointing!!! I've bought many books for my students but unfortunately the DEA codes are missing which prevents me from accessing the teacher's keys. I've written numerous emails to Black Cat and no one ever cared to respond. Shame.
So engaging 👏👏👏👏👏
Glad you enjoyed it 😃

I enjoyed this novel. My late mum introduced me to it and encouraged me to read it.
those are all well and good, but Gentleman in Jane Austen's time was also a rank of class, you would never call a working man back then a gentleman, or even someone of the clergy unless they come from a "gentry" family. To be a "gentleman" means literally that you come from a "gentry" background, landowners and such, maybe not nobility, but usually well off. The act of being a "gentleman" was made up by the gentry class to prove they are worth that title, because it's almost never earned and almost always born into, to show their station was above everyone else, to keep certain people in their place. So while nowadays it's probably a good thing for everyone, not just men, to develop the attributes of a "gentleperson", it's probably a good idea to explain what it means if you're gonna use Jane Austen as context.
What? She had a tragic life. She was kidnapped, taken to a foreign land away from her family and everything she ever knew, raped, and forced to marry that old ugly Englishman. She was only 11yrs old when that fuck shit started.
Voice not audible properly man😮
