Glad you're getting this experience this semester, girlie!! 🎤💡🎭🖤✨ And as part of the "breaking the rules" and asking say, for an audition slot when they all seem to be full, my mom always says that when in doubt, you should absolutely call or email someone. It's never as scary as it seems haha. I once contacted a director to make sure that I could still audition for a certain role even though the information given to us was that it was for boys only. Turns out, she didn't even realize that what she sent out said that, and quickly made an announcement with corrections. In short, ✨just ask✨

Jo March from Little Women is both today's "ideal" of a strong, independent woman, and she ended up being a loving wife and mother at the end of the story. I feel like oftentimes we are told that we can only be one or the other, and people are often biased as to which one is better; but as an outspoken, feminine woman myself, I can confidently say that there is value in both 💚

I had a friend ask how I got to stop having nightmares very often, and I said that I pray every night; it's the peaceful mindset you get when spending time with Jesus ✝ Do I still get nightmares from time to time? Yes, of course; as you said, having a relationship with God doesn't remove the realities of life, but it makes it easier to bear 💜 Not sure if this is the precise verse, but I did find this ---> Psalm 30:11-12: "You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, that my glory may sing your praise and not be silent. I'm a major procrastinator (but still somehow wired to stress over unfinished work), and I find that having a better balance between school and other stuff definitely helps. Okay, get ready for my longest "comment section rant" because I have a lot to say on this one: Little note about putting your social lives "on the back-burner" to prioritize your studies: it drops your energy even more and makes you feel WORSE, because now in addition to being tired and stressed and malnourished, you're lonely. I feel like oftentimes the "fun stuff" is the last priority in Christian academia and the theatre because "laziness is a sin", but even God understands that sometimes you just need a snack and a nap. True, being lazy is not good, and it prevents you from giving it your all when you're 100% capable of it, but there's a difference between *laziness* and *caring for your temple.* I'll admit, I can't help but feel like I've been on the flip side of this, especially recently, with putting off my work until the day that it's due for the most part, not because I needed rest, but because I couldn't stand the thought of working in that moment. I tend to get even more stuck when I don't have the first clue how to start, and so I just don't until I have no other choice, which also isn't great for your health. Rant aside, I think that it's easy to fall into extremes when it comes to your work, when really, it's about balance ❤ Oh my gosh, "Everyone's best is gonna be different, and guess what: even YOUR best is gonna be different depending on your surrounding circumstances" THAT'S SUCH A GOOD POINT THAT NEVER GETS TALKED ABOUT!! PREACH!!! Anyways (lol) the set is looking great, you are looking radiant, and I'm loving the series, girl <3 It definitely encourages me to give certain things more thought. Keep up the good work!! (With REST!!! 😂)
