Why when I run editor first then fortnite does not starts, it says login failed and when I first run fortnite first then editor does not run says login failed

my UEFN DIDNT COME WITH NO FOLDER WITH FORTNITE ASSETS I DONT HAVE ISLANDS OR PREFABS NOTHING
will I need a decent PC for this? just for creation? Ive an Xbox One X but it looks better and easier on PC.. my current PC is 15 years old lol, good enough for browsing, but not for gaming (1GB GTX 650 / 4Ghz QuadCore Intel / 14GB RAM / 1TB SSD / 4TB HDD)

Eagerly awaiting an update video! Sadly had to stop halfway through because everytime I try to paint my landscape, the editor crashes. Have tried a few different fixes and it always crashes the second I start paint, but doesn't give an error reason. Update: Right after commenting thought of one last thing to try. Temporarily changed my scalability to low and now it works.

Top right of the viewport above the outliner click settings and then engine scalability.

It will surely help, but take a look at the recommendations. And like you saw in the video, you can turn down the settings.

Quick question : how can I select the parent actor (static mesh), instead of the child ? Whenever I click on a composite asset, it only selects the child.
