The way they redubbed much of Walt Disney World's Haunted Mansion ride soundtrack in 2007 reminds me of these re-dubbed Gumby episodes. The music, sound effects and most of the voices were replaced, except they kept the Ghost Host and Singing Busts' voices unaltered.

Another dream I had a few days ago was about me traveling by car in the old city where I lived as a child, with a camera I recorded everything that happened and how the city looked from above, in front of us was a car, further ahead we went through a very dark tunnel, we didn't know why there were no lights, the car in front of us fell just after leaving the tunnel, after the tunnel there was a bridge. My father who was driving said to call 911 but to keep going, when calling 911 we urgently asked for help for the guy who fell out of the car, but the operator asked us for our name and ID, it seemed very strange to me that she asked us but we gave it to her anyway and the call was cut off. At that point I went to the driver's perspective, who was badly injured. The man called 911 without hesitation, but the operator's voice was very robotic. The first thing she asked was his name and ID. The man, in pain, shouted that information and that they should come and get him. At that point, the call was cut off. Suddenly, a strong breeze was near the guy and in the background some machines could be heard. He didn't know what was happening, but he managed to see a robot (with gears and steam) approaching him. The man didn't know why such a thing was coming towards him. He was afraid of that thing and started to run, but he couldn't do anything. That machine killed him on the spot, and then a much larger machine went to clean up the mess.

Does anyone know if they pressed 78RPM records with this song or not?

Thank you for making a playlist! I tried looking for some covers, but UA-cam's search function sucks incomprehensible quantities of ass. It's probably better to search youtube with an entirely different search engine, though I haven't figured out the best way yet.

use in eateot aside, this is my favorite cover of heartaches out there. no one has ever covered it and the same tender and raw way ellis did. everything about this recording is just amazing - his voice, the violins, the horns, the tempo, the key... its really a shame that not many people covered this song in the same way he did - many performances of this song played it faster to make it "danceable", in particular ted weems. its also a shame that people only really come here to leave annoying and unfunny dementia jokes in the comments but there's not much one can do about that.

I was born in 89, and we purchased this for a dollar at a yard sale some time in the mid 90s. My dad and I played this until it stopped working. Such a fun game. I'm amazed to have found it again on youtube.

Even though I discovered Al Bowlly's version first, Seger's is my very favorite. Little did I know, that Seger passed away in Houston while we we living there. I didn't even know who he was at that point. Rest in peace, dear Seger. Thankful you had a long life. Poor Al ... breaks my heart thinking about how he died.
