Nearly MotM performance for me (Salah and Diaz probably edge himout). He's playing really fluidly in Slot's double pivot! That little feint @1:31 was unbelievably smooth, reminiscent of a certain Thiago Alacantra.

Skills and Size perfect combo for the DM role.

What impressed me most is his awareness of everything around him. He will take a chance because he's confident in his own ability. Of course he has yet to face a top opponent but he is learning a new position. You don't have to be a great tackler to be a great holding midfielder. Xabi Alonso rarely had to make a sliding tackle although he was capable. Mascherano was more of that type of midfielder.
