I feel like this might be bullshit. But I agree on the dislike count removal being dumb, and also agree with a lot of points you made. The view count might be kinda interesting. Like I only saw this video because it was recommended. If I were a person with a bias towards viral videos etc, I might not have watched. It'd be good to see if there are statistics about this. But yeah, I also feel like removing view counts altoghether would be weird. Maybe make them less visible at a glance if you're trying to help smaller creators.

As a person with a rating of 2600, after watching a video of a person playing with a rating of 600, every second move I was simply killed and foaming at the mouth, I broke my arm, broke my headphones, screamed and cried, but I watched the video to the end and I liked it, I'll give it like

Imma be honest, the easiest ELO to go up too is from 600-1000. (Or 600-900 but still) Its cause, the only big difference is not how good you play, and not your gold moves, but your bad ones. Yes, as a 1000 elo player, I still blunder once every couple of games. Sometimes back to back. But 600 elo will pretty much always have at least 1. Along with mistakes and inaccuracys. And thats why its pretty easy from 600 too 900-1000. Cause with enough games, you will stop making (as many) mistakes. My good moves are not much better then 600 elo, but I have a lot less bad moves. After 1000 elo itll be trickier as for me for example, I dont make a lot of bad moves but I almost always have 1 or 2 misses in a game (sometimes even 3 or 4) so you will have to see those. And its easier to see not to blunder your pieces before you can punish oppenents for blundering theres. But im talking about 600-1000 elo. I hope this helps a bit.
