Just trying out the Time Lapse feature of my Samsung NX1. I Set The Aperture to f11, with a shutter of 1/160, and iso set to 400
Headed there in a few days my hotel can be seen in your video 🍺love the reggae song 💯‼️
Nice video. You certainly captured a great deal of Tampa's beauty. Is it possible to email a request to you about this one?
Ron Borders sure
@@seanbuchanan813 Thank you so much. :-) You will be credited in the film and also on the UA-cam link. Thank you again.
Beautiful city! Can't wait to move there!
nice video i made a similar one shorter
Where did you take-off/land from?
Tyler Welsh when I was there the beach was pretty empty where I was stationed. Took off right from the sand and landed in same spot probably 200 yards west of the pier
We should fly together.
For those questioning the legality of flying at Picnic Island... Per the Chief ATC Controller at MacDill, hobby flight operations at picnic island are perfectly acceptable as long as you don't fly over the base or above the 400 ft ceiling for hobbyists. Questions - call MacDill ATC directly at 813-828-4492 or 2120. It's always good practice to CYA and call ATC when flying in close proximity to any airfield. Another good number to have when flying in the Tampa area is the Direct number to Tampa International / Tampa Approach - 813-878-2528. You can never go wrong calling in advance. Happy (safe) flying!
That's controlled airspace. When you say it's only a no fly zone directly over the base are you basing that off the dji go app?
I worked in law enforcement for Tampa Police. Picnic Island is ok to fly, just can't go near the airstrip.
Sean Buchanan TPD and the FAA are completely different agencies. TPD might not care but it's still breaking FAA regulations because you're in class D airspace without permission. If you contacted Macdill Tower and asked I'm pretty sure they would not be ok with it. I don't care either way, just saying be safe the FAA is starting to fine people now commercial and hobby.
TPD works hand in hand with both FAA and Macdill. I know the rules, and Picnic Island is a public park/beach, drones are allowed. Deal with it.
Sean Buchanan I Just spoke with the public affairs office at Macdill to see if you are in fact allowed to fly at picnic island, they told me you are not allowed to fly drones at picnic island because it is within 5 miles of the airport. You should do your research before you go around spreading misinformation.
Hey Jacob don't you have better things to do ? Was just there today and saw 10 people flying and the police and a MacDill officer was out there and stated it was fine . Please refrain from spewing garbage on my UA-cam please . I get it you're upset for some odd reason but move on man .
