18cm and 20cm is fine. But I’d really go 20cm if you cook soups. To this note, 20cm is more versatile for 2-3 portion. Tip, don’t go bigger 😅 haven’t used 22cm up, ever & usually prepare for 4-6 every meal (except for whole chicken meals on oval casseroles).

For some reason Hermes states that they are not microwaveable and can use dishwasher occasionally. I don’t know why they changed that. I bought 2 dinner, 2 dessert, 2 mugs, 2 soup plates and 2 cereal bowls. I have been microwaving oatmeal in the cereal bowls. Maybe I should call the NYC store to see why the instructions have changed.

Sadly, yes.. you can only fit 2 fingers.

it's called Marmite/Marmita/Soup pot.. actually deeper than this&for bigger serving but so far I can't find an occasion to use it yet (soup pot) Just so big, deep & wide for our everyday meal ;p
