Yeah, that's pretty much what I think too. The difficulty and complexity of inn fights have increased over the past few years, and it's mainly because of the new mechanics introduced in these fights. Not saying they shouldn't do this, but I kind of wish it was not used so frequently right after introducing it.

I think Verly needs to put these mechanics out there to see if it's even favored by the playerbase. If he didn't, we wouldn't get a lot of unique mechanics, so it's still a good thing he tries doing something new with inn fights. But I definitely agree that the difficulty and complexity of inn fights have increased over the years as a result of it.

I never said you are obligated to do such fights. All I said was if you were doing these, it would be less for the actual challenge and more for the rewards. I also didn't mention a lot of the recent stuff simply just to not make this video into a big hate essay over the inn fights. I am just giving an opinion on the inn fights' current state which will most likely be ignored by everyone anyway. It doesn't need me to mention every single bad fight and why it's bad as it would take far too long and the video would end up dragging out for no reason. Fair point that I didn't mention the examples for heals and boost/bonus argument, but I can mention them here for the sake of it. Artix exists for the 50% heals (well, he heals for 40% but close enough). Achilles and Odessa are easy examples for High Boost/Bonus. In retrospect, it doesn't seem like there is a really high saturation of these two mechanics specifically but there is a saturation for mechanics like damage reduction which does make the inn fights seem less interesting when you repeat these mechanics.

Everyone is entitled to have their own opinion, it doesn't matter if you are in the minority.

Idk it having a huge -Boost, Sync's damage being insane and possibly achieving net 75% damage reduction. Not to mention it has a 3 turn 200 MPM shield with a low cooldown. Also I had really suboptimal play in this fight so the fact that I still won shows how broken it is.

The Consumed KAA custom is available from the Catalysts shop in the Book of Lore. As for the Chariot KAA custom, you can purchase the Chariot helm from Darkon's shop. For that, you would need to unlock Darkon's room at the Inn at the Edge of Time by defeating Swan Song or Swan Song (Extreme) and keeping its reward. Both the catalyst (Consumed) and the helm (Chariot) can only be bought with DCs.

There are worse weapons out there tbh, just don't upgrade the weapon and treat it as a cosmetic instead.

@@TheJeffGang tbh i doubt there are. this one has zero mainstat and possibly the worst damage range in the game, for its level (for context, Lim's lvl 60 dragonlord weapons have 71-79 dmg range and +10 mainstat). the high crit chance doesn't even matter, because crit from items is capped at 100 anyways, so it only matters if all of your other items have 0 crit for some reason.
