"I wish i could die more often and get that kind of stuff" yep those words hit fiunnily close to how i play this game for first hour on a new world. But i am back with more, since you found a replacement place, check all the villagers and box every good villager, getting 1 fletcher is extremly good at the start because it allows you to use bow instead of staying in melee combat, if you find a farmer, great you can trade wheat, cleric for future so you can get enderpearls and safe box all librarians too, because now i can share important knowlage with you. Enchants > armor - and that isn't a joke, on my main savefile right now i am still running in protection IV enchanted iron set and cannot physically be one shot, just gotta be weary of lower durability of iron. (i am enchanting my dragon set in the meantime) But back to Iron, you technically cannot use tools and weapons, but you can carry water in a water bucket, you can make a canteen and upgrade it to Iron version, and you can purify water in a canteen by use of charcoal filter which will be more efficient than cooking water. Check out the spartan weaponary and really consider a longer range melee weapon (haliberd, spear, pike, greatsword, quarterstaff) if you prefer throwing weapons consider (throwing axe, knife or javelin), all spartan weaponary have their own variants for each ore including dragon bone variants and they are rather easy to make since they use basic materials and are all better than a base game sword. You found a battle tower around, which means that on the top is a miniboss, not going to say what boss in case you do not know, but if you try to open chest on the top and one on the floor below the boss it will activate to go for your butt and it also makes it impossible to open chests in radius around it and towers collapse if you kill the boss. Yet around that battle tower is a swamp nearby, which could contain aspids they can be farmed and bred with mushrooms, which if you cook their meat of you can get access to life regen food and if you turn it into moss pie it will be turned into life regen II for 1 minute food. you can make a saw from iron which you technically cannot use, unless you think slightly off, by which i mean is to just put it in the crafting grid with logs to turn them into planks or sticks depending if you put the logs below or next to the saw. You can turn iron bars into iron nuggets, and iron nuggets into lockpicks to open locked chests :) (or use a hopper if you can make one, just gotta put it below the tower chest and it should proc the boss to activate). You can remove grass around the tower to make hitting with a weapon a bit easier and use slabs to cheese towers with no fear of spiders going through 1 block gaps. Dodge ability is an unlockable skill in the agility skill tree. (that is where you level up skills to use better stuff) i would advise making some mining trips but i advise never standing right next to ores when you mine them, especially in caves (trust me), get magic and mining to 8 so you can mine every ore in the game and use an iron pick. I also advise making a sleeping bag, which you make in the same way you make a bed but without the planks, it allows you to sleep anywhere but it doesn't change your spawnpoint :) Now main goal is getting the exp nessecarry to use diamond stuff, magic and bulding to 12, so you can use enchanting table and an anvil to fix gear. Feel fry to try cheesing the tower for exp and kill those cave spiders for the chance of beozard bouble, poison immunity will be handy. :3 Also, lifesteal is op. And use the item search thing in your inventory, it is rather stonks to learn. Rlcraft isn't that scary and i say as a person who plays this hell casually, you found a fletcher villager around the tent structure which is amazing since you can mine all the wool from the tents, turn it into string and trade in for arrows and EXP, get agility 2 first so you can use basic bow since fighting from range is safer early, if you want to use a shield then use it with spartan weaponary spear it gives you reach I and isn't double handed, if you prefer more damage a haliberd or pike but those cannow be used with a shield, i would advise changing the mod settings to actually see the accurate amount of health instead of colors because those get deciving, protect your torso and head at all costs because whenever one reaches 0 health you are dead no matter leftover health on other parts, if you want damage absorbsion weapon consider rapier/saber with a shield, you can make basic bandages with 1 wool in the middle and 1 string on each side to heal up, get mining 4 as soon as you can to get ability to mine iron, so you can always carry a water bucket on you for water, cooling, and possibly clutches if you gotta run, if you find a cave spider spawner on the surface consider actually farming the spiders instead of destroying the spawner since those will naturally run out of spawnable mobs and dispawn regardless, for chance of dropping beozar boubble for poison immunity which then turn farming exp of off wheat almost 100% safe because spriggans can no longer poison you. Arisuars, makas, joustes, babekos, aspids are non hostile, krakes are passive if you don't sprint around them and while alpha makas and joustes can and will in high chance show agression but can be dismantled with a bow from range, and importantly, if you ever find a purple biome, look up scarlite reaver and ring made out of it scarlite, you won't regret that one, make a sleeping bag to skip night without need to go back home without changing your spawnpoint because especially early night is your worst enemy and where the most dangerous mobs spawn and be a bit breaver, you don't have that much too loose early in the game and already have a spawnpoint so you can just take less things on the way with you on trips. (consider also getting a horse to waste less food and water exploring the surface as well as making atlas to have a map) (and you can't really do much about dragons for now so listen for flapping wing sounds and stay weary)(dragons have a reather specific flapping sound) If i see more Rlcraft on this channel i will return with more ancient knowlage, and for the content because i love this living annoyance. ~ have fun ~ <3
