I loved Brad Davis in Midnight Express. I'd heard that he'd died but couldn't recall why. If you're familiar with Midnight Express, Davis is the lead character who experiences hell on Earth. I can't imagine a better actor for this role. It is evident that Davis had a long and successful career coming his way, and this happens. HIV strikes him, and apparently, according to his wife, he contracted it through a blood transfusion. Thanks for the life lessons then and the ones we have missed with you in them. RIP, Mr. Davis.
