My senior dogs wouldn't be here without Adequan. It's literally a life saver. I purchase it from Drs Foster & Smith although they're supposedly merging with Pet-Co at some point which (I'm assuming) means they won't be keeping their exceptionally low prices. Whatever the cost--high, low, deal, no deal-- it's definitely worth the pricetag when quality of life is at stake.
I did the two shots a week for a month. Then lessend the dose over the next few months to once a month. I don't think once a month is enough. What are your doses. I will check with the vet again but would like to know from others who have used this for arthritis in dogs.
Thanks! My dog tore her ACL and just had the TTA surgery. I'm currently giving her a shot every 4 days. I was told the basic info on the medication but not more than that. Nice to know what it's actually doing in there.
