The producer here fail on putting this masterpiece together. This film had all the right casting but bad production. The best two characters were Sub Zero and Scorpion.
I got the idea that the new Mortal Kombat game might not have Kuai Liang anymore but his older brother. If this is the case, it remains to be seen if Hanzo is ready to throw the hatchet into the well and forgive Bi Han and forget the past. I myself would hope that Bi Han would return to his brother''s side, as far as i understand Kuai Liang would also like the same, as far as i know there was no hatred between the brothers other than the fact that Quan Chi caused Kuai Liang to get Scorpion''s anger on his neck while Hanzo believed that Kuai Liang''s brother Bi Han had killed his wife and children. The saying goes that time heals wounds, but it remains to be seen if this is the case with Hanzo Hasashi and Bi Han. peace came to Kuai Liang and Scorpion when the truth was finally revealed Mortal Kombat X game 🤝🤝👍👍
I guess if they only got one thing right with this movie it might as well be Scorpion vs Sub-Zero. Both fights were about the only good thing about it.
In this fight I realize can see that at this time, Bi Han was the stronger fighter of the two, physically and power-wise but Hanzo was the better in the term of fighting skill. You can see it clearly by the way they fought and landed hits on each other. Bi Han has supernatural ice power to begin with, he overpowered Hanzo with his superior strength, for example he pushed the kunai spear to Hanzo's stomach, squeeze Hanzo's neck or threw him away easily. On the other hand Hanzo fought back with pure skill, his attacks was quick and precise strikes to opponent's weak points, and only lost because Bi Han is a superhuman. When they fought again as at the end of the movie, Hanzo had become Scorpion and gain super powers himself, they became even in the term of power, and Hanzo got the upper hand and beat Bi Han in 1v1 fight, thanks to his superior skills

Even without Cole's help, Scorpion still the better fighter, he got the upper hand and knocked Sub-Zero to the floor. Cole only help him kill Sub-zero, but most of the fight it was Scorpion who do the most job, and based on what was shown he can defeat Sub-zero alone

He dodged, blocked Sub-Zero's attacks with little problem, counter-attacked smoothly, adapted better to situations and had effective strategy, allowed him to gain the upper hand. This proved that he had the edge over Sub, and knocking him to the floor is the result that followed ( can argue the spear shot from behind, but they are both assasins who do anything necessary to kill opponents, so it's not a problem, the spear didn't hit any Sub-Zero vital parts and he still Ok, what important was the fight happened after that). If you want to knock down someone to the floor, you have to overwhelm them first. And Cole couldn't even touch Sub at first, Sub completely curb-stomped him, only after Scorpion damaged Sub and Sub was injured and weakened already that Cole had any use at all
@@quangnguyenvan8026 all that is negated because Scorpion hit a cheap shot vs Zero first 😂of course he is going to dodge Zeros attacks because Zero is already distracted and injured it wasnt a 1 vs 1 100 percent healthy fight...plus Zero didnt prepare to face this guy with full powers Scorpion came outta nowhere like a big surprise ...in games i always saw Scorpion as the better fighter...here they portrayed him like he needed help 😂Zero still took both of em on at the end total bs 😂
As someone who knows the Mortal Kombat lore (by research), I know Bi-Han did NOT murder Hanzo’s family. Maybe some Shirai Ryu ninjas, but when Bi-Han invaded the compound, he didn’t see Hanzo’s family as a threat and spared their lives, but as he left he find Hanzo, Quran Chi arrived and murdered Hanzo’s wife and child by freezing them, making it look like Bi-Han DID murder them. We might see that happen in a sequel or two.
@@ethanh116 His death wasn't warranted any more than anybody's death in the 2 clans. They were at war. The death of scorpion's family is what made him want revenge and bi han had nothing to do with that.
Bi-Han killed Hanzo in the Himalayas while looking for a map for Quan-Chi. In order to pay for Bi-Han's services, Quan-Chi killed the Shirai Ryu for the Lin Kuei.
And... THIS... Ladies n Gents, is why Hattori Hanzo(aka Scorpion) is probably my favorite Mortal Kombat character: he's basically the John Wick of The franchise. Nuff said. 💯
Perfect actors for Bi-Han and Scorpion too bad the directors decides they wanted to make a character that we can try to "relate" to. That's Hollywood for you. Just make a damn MK movie with the already existing video game characters. It's not that hard. They nailed it with this movie, besides Cole.

In mk lore Quan chi was the one who killed scorpions family and the rest of the shirai ryu yet bi han killed scorpion.
That was Quan Chi in disguise as Bi Han who manipulated the Lin Quei to attack and slaughter the shirai ryu, including Hanzo's family.
