For all the crap Ubisoft gets for this game (from myself included sometimes) I have to give them props for the Hubac Twins Arc. Lestari and Zamaharibu are ok, La Peste is alright, but they did something special with the Hubac Twins in my opinion. Their back story, this theme song, and then Ubi having this play in the background while you fight them in the final showdown is just all reminiscent of the final battle in At Worlds End. It really draws you into the game. Not that it matters, but I totally called weeks ago that the final fight would have some kind of whirlpool mechanic. So glad that came true. Looking forward to what they have planned (story-wise) for S3
I agree, La Peste was kind of generic and boring, not very interesting. But they gave depth to the Twins, with this tune and the whole musical atmosphere they bring. Also giving us related quests every week so we can see the events unfold was a fantastic idea. I found myself thinking that I'd be actually interested in a series for example detailing their career and how they became murderers and pirate hunters.
Everytime I go into the game and hear it I humm to it or sing with em🔥🔥
