It’s worth pointing out that Nesta cannot be mind f’ed.. or “glamoured” as shown multiple times. And I think Rhys resents the fact that he can’t control her unlike the rest of the lapdogs in the NC. I personally think we’ve all been HAD. Book 1: Tamlin good, Rhysand bad. Book 2 onward: Tamlin bad, Rhysand good. But I actually think Tamlin was actually right all along. The NC are the bad guys and everyone has been sold a dream. Tamlin is clearly traumatised by something we haven’t yet been told, history with Rhysand. This sicko Rhysand does the MOST to keep sticking it to Tamlin… for what? He’s a PSYCHOPATH 😂😂💀

I know I’m so late commenting on this video BUT… Rowan is what Rhysand SHOULD be. Honest, loyal, protective, did I mention HONEST, loving, a good friend… again with HONEST 😂😂. I adore Rowan. He’s a powerful male that isn’t intimidated by the fact that his wife is THE queen. Unlike Rhysand who gives Feyre the ILLUSION of power but really makes all the decisions.

I’m late to your video but have only just read this book. I am here for your ACOTAR snark 😄 I also love Nesta, and this book broke my heart for her. I’d like to add that not only does Feyre drag her to the stupid party, she also suddenly realises that she “forgot” to get Nesta a present, and neither did anyone else apart from Elaiyn. In fact, Rhys told the others not to buy anything for Nesta in particular. So she has to sit there watching everyone else exchange thoughtful gifts, including seeing Cassian, the guy who apparently likes her, receive silky underpants from his “friend”, in return for the MATCHING underwear that he got for her. This is the same friend that he has slept with, gives foot rubs to, snuggles with, etc. It doesn’t help that Mor is an absolute bitch to Nesta all the time. Honestly, the Inner Circle are just a bunch of arrogant, spiteful narcissists and NESTA DESERVES BETTER. Also, Feyre keeps shaming Nesta over the rent money (assuming it’s because she wants Nesta back in the town house where they can control her) when they could just buy her the entire shitty apartment block and leave her in peace. But no, because Feyre and Rhys need to have everyone around for their little circle jerk. They literally have enough money to build a FIFTH home, but won’t do that for Nesta?? And not only that, Rhys lists off the cute touches they will add to their new house, one for each of their “family”… apart from Nesta. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk 🥲😅

I've finished the last book few days ago. I really didn't like how so many things happened off-screen in the 4th book... It bothered me A LOT. I also don't really like Aelin and Rowan... Rowan, like you said, acts like a dog so much 😅 I see their relationship as "she is the strongest ever, so she must be with the strongest and best warrior there is". Nothing else is going on there in my opinion 😅 Elide is like, the smartest person among all of them. No wonder Lorcan fell for her. I liked their dynamic a lot. Manon has such a strong character development from the moment she is introduced until the very end. It's chef's kiss to me! Yrene is WONDERFUL. And I like how Chaol stopped being all depressed and opssesed with his ex. But I didn't really care about Nesrin... Like, I almost skipped her chapters 😅 and her romantic relationship just doesn't make much sense to me, I feel literally nothing when it comes to it 😅 The thirteen doing the Yielding RIPPED MY HEART OUT. I still can't recover from that scene...

I AM WITH YOU. Her books are trash ... I TRIED I really did, but I didn't like any of her primary characters. Her storylines were barely there, or they were prefab (redone) and/or cringe AF. There is NO character development; the relationships are TOXIC, and she has hardly any real world building. I almost want to say it was like horrible fan fiction but I think I've read more fanfiction that was better than her books than her books could ever be.

I LOVED this book! I read it literally the day it came out haha! I’m currently reading the heroes of Olympus series! Also can’t wait for September 24th when book 7 comes out!!

I just finished reading it (I know I'm so late on the whole acotar hype, but I refused to read it for years, after people described it as spicy fantasy 😂 🤢...because girl is a traditional fantasy lover lol)....I actually got over the "spicy" parts and stopped cringing after a while, but I had to come onto the Internet and see if I'm the only one who's bothered with how Tamlin and Rhysand are being portrayed. I'm a military wife and the whole PTSD thing hits home quite a bit, and I feel the author has totally ignored Tam's suffering and his sacrifices. I understand the idea of two broken people not being able to fix each other, but I felt like the book really did him dirty. The way Tam handled the whole PTSD thing was obviously catastrophic, but once again, anyone who knows someone who struggled with these demons in real life will know that communication for those who suffer is not that easy. I actually don't have a huge issue with Rhy. Just another character that is trauma riddled. I just don't like how Tam is being portrayed, just in order to make Rhy look better or to make excuses for his odd behaviour....

Enjoyed the review! My Girlfriend recommended me the book and I enjoy a good fantasy romance type book from time to time so I figured I would read it and its a good thing I listened to a audio version of it because I probably wouldnt have finished it otherwise lol I thought the writing was just poor and the majority of things just didnt make sense.
