This exchange, where the demons won't flee, is what convinced me "the Jesus whom Paul preaches" cannot be Jesus of Nazareth. I didn't want to believe it but the demons would leave if it was the same Jesus.
@ChristinaFromUA-cam I have to periodically return to your Paul videos because the content is so excellent. I am always blown away by your logic and insight.
@RebukeTHYkingdom this is so kind!! I've been having a really hard week and this really made it a lot better thank you! I struggle so much with the idea that I can see Luke snitching on Paul in the same words that someone else sees him regaling everyone with stories about how cool Paul is. I really appreciate your kind words and that you see what I see!
@RebukeTHYkingdom you've inspired me to do a chapter by chapter on Acts and what Luke is saying. Plus a really cool thing is I figured out who Theophilus is. Who Luke was writing. I figured it out because he calls him Most Excellent in Luke but just plain Theophilus in Acts. So it had to be someone with a Roman title that got fired. Theophilus was a Levite High Priest they ran out of Jerusalem. The only Theophilus that got fired. To me it makes a huge difference that Luke is speaking to a High Priest when he says things like Paul didn't recognize the High Priest.

YOU ARE HERE: 5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. 7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth-Gog and Magog-and to gather them for battle. Revelation 20 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of Jehovah. 5 This is what the Sovereign Jehovah says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. I forgot to mention this guy creeps me out, I don’t know what it is about him, he makes my stomach churn just a little when I hear him preaching. Voddie Bauchman I think that’s how you spell his name, sorry for butchering that name if I spelt it wrong 😊
@@InterwebUser-ps7ju I watched a few more clips of him and I totally see where you're coming from. Like even this particular clip I think is a roundabout way of saying "you have to submit to your husband" but they can never just say what they mean so they have to phrase it like "you don't have to submit to anyone but your husband." Its like salesman techniques to the exact same place you were.
He has car salesman energy and shouldn't considering he isn't selling anything. (Or is he? That's probably what makes it feel creepy. He is acting like a salesman in circumstances he definitely shouldn't be.)
@@ChristinaFromUA-cam exactly. He is selling his own gospel and his own teachings. I think I’ve seen a video of his outright saying women must be submissive to their husbands. But this is the rotten fruit of Paul, the outcome of Paul’s letters. Voddie also preaches a lot on the subject of how men are the rulers of their home and women should go from father to husband and no in between yada yada. He just doesn’t sit well with me. I like how you phrased it, he seems to be selling something where he shouldn’t be selling anything.
I can not overexaggerate how badly the "from father to husband" theory bothers me. Do these preachers go outside? There haven't been many fathers around for the past 40 years. So we are going to have to figure out what the fatherless do to marry and simultaneously avoid psychopaths in the process. "Ideally your life would be perfect from birth til you turn 18 and then you will be equipped to find a good husband. And if not? Tough luck daddy-issues."
There is also the very unsettling feeling that they're talking to people who don't exist. The little girls with great dads who can help them find a good husband. Like preaching to phantoms. Ugh yeah that's eerie.
It bothers me whenever I read about the crucifixion of Jesus. But Paul (and the Catholics) love to talk about it constantly.
@@rerebrew I believe it is minimized incessantly as no big deal. When its supposedly God doing it its no big thing like yay but its God he's fine. When it's a man, like you or I, and this is what happened its absolutely heart-rending as it ought to be. The Spirit being poured out came at an incredibly heavy cost. This is a man brutalized to death. This isn't, like Paul calls it, the likeness of a man. This is a human being.
It’s incredible how some people can smoke drink and eat flour and water everyday and live a long time but someone might do the opposite and live less time. I believe God keeps us alive for His purpose. It’s interesting. 😅

Paul's disciples become psychopaths because of him; and they treat one of the most brutal murders I've ever heard of like its a game of patty-cake.
Do you also refer to the Pauline Jesus's transactional blood sacrifice doctrine?
@wserthmar8908 Paul? Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. 1 Peter 2:24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. 1 John 2:2 He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. 1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit 1 John 4:10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. Revelation 5:9 And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation Where Paul goes wrong is saying "ok that's fine but now the law is abolished and nothing is sin."
If you're asking me why I think Jesus "had to" die I think it's the pouring out of his spirit. Like a tax collector or whore can really legitimately have access to his spirit and fortitude which it seems to me like if he never died that wouldn't be the case. His spirit would just still be inside of him and he would be trying to give speeches to people who literally don't understand anything He is saying. "Got anymore of them fish bro?" For thousands of years town to town wouldn't exactly have the same effect on the world as bringing millions to true repentance in a breath.
Like basically, to me, it goes "They don't understand me. They will die in their ignorance and sin. But if I die my spirit will be poured out like Elijah's on Elisha with double portions! Ok well that's doable!" That's why his death is for us.
And the reason they keep interchanging blood and spirit in the explanation is because the life is in the blood. Its a fact that we are repeatedly told over and over and over. We don't have his spirit poured out without his blood poured out and that was something he knew well and because he loved us and knew an outpouring of his life, his spirit, onto the world would rend hardened hearts and draw people to the Father he willingly allowed his life to be taken even though he easily could've stopped it. Its not like ooh gimme some blood and I'll let the dude live like your phrasing would belie. Its that without the spirit poured out those people would die in their sin because they'd never feel convicted of sin before it was too late.

I mean seriously imagine yourself telling Deborah the Judge of Israel that you don't have to listen to her because she is a woman; and actually, in fact, she shouldn't even be speaking at all. What a rebellious and disrespectful mindset; and its no less rebellious and disrespectful when its aimed at a Christian woman preaching the gospel of Jesus of Nazareth. Its born of undistilled wickedness to tell women to stop preaching the gospel.
When people try to justify that kind of thing, my mind always goes to Deborah too. Like how could they explain that God was speaking through a woman if you refuse to listen to women. Also whenever someone disregards a message to focus on the messenger, that's ad hominem, which is Latin for "to the human." Some people act like the phrase "ad hominem" only refers to insults, but it's broader than that. It refers to any time arguments go unaddressed so that people can focus on irrelevant details about the person making the arguments. But back to the topic of women: My brother's more involved in social media than I am, and he actually says that he thinks women are typically better than men at recognizing Paul for what he really was. I'm not on TikTok, but he said there were more women than men making anti-Paul comments, at least on that platform.
@justinjozokos1699 my mom loved Christ but she was just viscerally repulsed by Paul. When I was brainwashed in the cult of death I would demand she explain why and she would say "I don't like him." She thought he had a stroke in the wilderness. If you mentioned Paul sometimes she would physically shudder. She died before I rejected him so we never got to talk from this side of it but she hated his "vibes." I don't know exactly but I think women are more likely to just trust their gut instinct than men. I have seen so many male friends be genuinely disturbed by a friend's behavior and they nervously explain it away and make excuses for the guy until they absolutely can't anymore. I've never seen a man just say "he's creepy the end." like women will. I think that translates to Paul directly.
Men will know their friend is a pervert like criminal type of pervert and they will try to convince themselves they don't know that and they will push down the creeping unease that they know and just keep pretending they don't know unless some evidence that would hold up in court comes out. That's the only way they ever give it up that everything is fine is after dude is finally arrested. How much more would they do that with their favorite apostle ever! Women will say "he is weird and I don't want him around me" and just believe it that its true-- *he is creepy and weird.*
Ive seen these creeps say explicitly what they are up to and their bros say "oh my god he is joking!" And twice those men I was saying were weirdos "joked" their way into prison and onto the registry. There's no way that subset of staunch defender bros are going to believe Paul is serious when he says he is crafty and tricking people. "Its sarcasm." Its actually my beef with men, honestly lol literally no one is ever a creeper or a perv to them unless he gets arrested for that crime. That is presented as the sole warning sign.
@justinjozokos1699 sorry to blow you up I just keep thinking about it Less egregious than the dirtybird friends, but definitely problematic, is that the overwhelming majority of men do not believe anyone is a malignant narcissist or demoniac. Everyone is just some variant of an odd guy that has his quirks. "Legion? Possessed?? Nah man he's fine he likes to live in the tombs. Its his thing. Ive known him my whole life he's just a little out there."
You submit to your husband
@@ShortWorld1817 the context that these verses about women are quoted to me is always that I should stop quoting Jesus and acquiesce to their false teachings and lawlessness being taught and the sole reason I ought to acquiesce in their worldview is because they are a man and I am a woman. That is not the system.
Because, while your wife ought to submit to your authority she is under no obligation to submit to Bob down the street because of his Y chromosome. I think Christian men should stand up more for their wives and daughters when random dudes try to exert authority over them. ESPECIALLY when its cloaked in "you are required to submit to me because God said so." Its a damnable lie and those men intend to harm.
So IF a woman is married she’s supposed to submit to her husband? Where does that leave God. What if the husband tells her to “stay” and God tells her to “GO!” For example. Or what if her husband thinks he’s her Lord? Where does that Leave Jesus Christ. There’s no sinful man mediator between woman and God which is her husband, no. We are all called to submit to God not our spouse, that would be considered idolatry if we submitted to our spouses or anyone for that matter. People like to take what “apostle” Paul says on the matter but completely disregard what God Jehovah, creator of the heaven and earth and all things in them, says. Wow. Interesting.

This food wouldn't have been any skin off his back but he flat refused. Did Abigail go read a book because her unwise husband said no? No she secretly prepared a feast for the army which in turn saved everyone including Nabal. Unfortunately for Nabal he soon died from being a drunkard. And Abigail's reward for what Christian men would call insolence and possibly even "feminism" for going against her husband? She lawfully married King David and had a husband worth listening to.
I always come back to the Apostles when Jesus is laying down the law on adultery and they exclaim "so its better not to marry at all!" Its really a "count the full cost" undertaking because yeah you should submit to one another and suck it up. And yes lust is adultery. And no you can't get divorced. Not everyone is going to get the Abigail escape and she's "lucky" Nabal didn't beat her for helping them after he said no. Drunks do that with little to no true remorse. Abigail was blessed by the escape but then she got to live through the Bathsheba fiasco. Would Abigail have ever exclaimed "its better not to marry!" ? Just speaking from experience and the practical effects of being allowed to run amuck and being a victim of Paul's lies, I think that for all intents and purposes "hate" is the right word in both scenarios.
I think I am more paranoid than you also. When someone says "its ok to sin" i automatically assume they're either an adulterer or a murderer and either way its disgusting. Whatever they're wanting to excuse by saying its ok to sin is usually just absolutely horrific and you'd be absolutely disgusted if you had to watch a video of whatever they're clutching on to.
