Trip to France Pt 2: Inside Versailles & Paris Sights to See
We finally made it to France through amazing luck! **Viewer discretion advised: if you get motion sickness, might want to skip this one**
We got a private tour of the private royal apartments at Versailles and then went into Paris to check out the Pantheon, Musee de Cluny, Shakespeare and Company, the Louvre, Tuileries Gardens, Place d'Concorde, and a few other things I lost footage of.

Fixing & Trimming a Cedar Hedge (Plus the eclipse)

Finally decided to move some shrubs in my hedge while they were still dormant....the lines weren't straight and it was driving me crazy the last 3 years. Also gave all the shrubs a nice trim.....and added my footage of the Eclipse from the path of totality. That was honestly one of the most amazing things I've seen. Get ready Spain 2026...I'm coming!

I've been wanting an almond tree! I don't have space. I'm still going to get one! 💖
7:00 it's bosquets.
That holly should probably be moved away from the foundation by at least a couple more feet.
Good thing it didn't survive then! lol

Firstly, sorry for the loss of your dog. When my dog passed, it must be ten years now, it broke my heart that I never got another dog 😪 My winters are tooo long and deeply cold for outdoor winter propagation ... though, I currently have a good deal of cuttings going on indoors. Summer '23 I found an amazing mutation upon one of my potentilla shrubs, double blooms of glorious peach / yellow / salmon / and almost watermelon in the now cooler weather. Been propagating the heck out it as a big US nursery has asked that I grow it on in large numbers to ensure of its stability and from there to possibly sign a trial propagation agreement and hopefully then its market release, I'm thrilled! Okay, I as well have a sport branch on one of my upright blue junipers I also need to get the thing rooted, never have attempted juniper, potentilla on the other hand can form roots within a mere few weeks.
Do you cover your almonds for winter? I'm in gta area.
Nope! So far so good for the tree on the hill. It looks like it has about 3 almonds, gotta beat the squirrels to them in the fall! You should be fine if you get one. I suggest Whiffletree nursery, you can order in late fall and they ship in spring.
First thing I noticed is the raised bed is way too close to the air conditioner.
Yea that's probably true, but it was the closest area to an outlet for the soil heating cables. There's still lots of other airflow around the AC though, unless you mean that's bad for the prop bed...? hmm
Love garter snakes!!!
Me too, we've had a family each year since we moved here in that little area.
@@MyPetZombie84 Awww, that's awesome. I wish we did as well. I would love a little family of snoodle boops to watch. ❤️
I’ve had this exact same problem happen to my 2019 Sierra 2500. I’m now on my third removal and cleaning of the HVAC blower due to mice building nests and pooping/peeing in the cabin air filter. GM should have put a screen on the HVAC air intake port under the cowl. Looks like I’m going to have to rig up something to stop this madness.
Oh wow that's wild! Yea in your case I'd try to find a way to block them. Also maybe get a cat! lol
Love it!
😂
This guy is a joke, right???
Omg mouse house smells so nasty!
I knoooooooow! 😢
Thanks for the nice informative video. I'm going to try this now. BTW, the music could be quieter.
Thanks for the video! I was trying to find seeds from my conifer trees but they never seem to drop anything however I had no clue you could grow conifers from clippings. I'm going to give this a shot. Greetings from Ontario
Did some yew cuttings on my basement window sill and rooted in about three months, cedar takes about the same amount of time. Next gotta try cuttings from my potted fig.
Pro tip: When installing ribbed fitting, pour hot water to soften plastic. You can use a heat gun but be carefull not to burn the plastic. They also sell grease to help with it. And for the hayward pump, you should have 2 drain plugs. One at the basket and one where the impeller housing is. Remove those for winterization, place parts inside basket, inside the pump so you dont loose them :D
I greased the hell outta that thing with hayward grease haha For my pump, the drain plug stripped and the knob broke off so I just leave the lid off now to allow any ice to expand :( Not ideal, but so far so good I think because the pump is in a shed it doesn't get as cold.
Subscribe if you enjoyed! Thanks

Yoooo this is beautiful :D good content Cody and Jojo
I collected dead flowers from neighbourhood perennials at the end of summer. I spread some on my garden soil with a wish and a prayer but hey - this is the way to go! I can't wait to try it with the rest of the wild seeds I have here. Thanks JC
I'll admit, I still do that every fall - you never know! Hope this method works for you if you try it! I gotta hunt down more containers, so many more I want to do. I will say I just spread poppy seeds (annual and perennial) all over on top of the snow. I just saw a Garden Answer video where she did it and supposedly it works, so thought I would give it a try. I'll post a before and after video later in the summer if it works!
@@MyPetZombie84 I love the poppy tip. Def post your results! I've wasted many seed packs over the years. It says sew after first frost but they all die. This year is my first for starting some seed plants in doors in March for later transplant. But your demo above is the most exciting and I'm busy collecting translucent containers - gotta see what happens!
Doing something like that takes patience, everything is lined up very well. Keep it up 👍
Thanks! Yes it does, but one little step at a time.....with beer.
That lightening storm!
Funny part is, after I organized all of my videos, I found a better storm video that I recorded myself!
