Nice tip! I've tried and with the pointcloud input, it won't work for me, the set position didn't give me the location to the planar grid... have you made something else in the pointcloud generator node?
What is the benefit of using nuke over fusion.
More advanced tools, larger community and support
Suggestions to the Artistic Control: the proper way to change anything with a non-multiplicaive method (for example gamma) on a light AOV, the light's diffuse component has to be divided with the albedo (color texture) AOV before modifications and multiplied back after. Otherwise the albedo component will also be changed with the light which could lead to artifacts or undesired effects. For example applying gamma change on a light AOV without separating diffuse light from the albedo will also change the texures' contrast instead of just changing the shadows.

hi, I've had this issue for a while, reconcile seems to work only for a point not deforming. what if I've got an animated geometry and want to create a keyframe from a point on the animated geo?

Not only is the brute forcing reconcile3D slow it is also unreliable and gets worse with the node count in a script. I used to create an empty temp script to do this faster. I’m sure you’re doing this in a smarter way, which is refreshing to see since it’s just a commonly used tool. Would love to see an option that uses camera position metadata instead of plugging in a camera. I’ve seen too many unorganized studios where it takes a great deal of time to track down the correct camera used for a render version.
