This was filmed on a cloudy day in September, with nippy temperatures and turbulence aplenty, but what an experience! I relived my dream as a kid sitting at the front of the plane in the cockpit with the pilot as we sauntered throught the sky.
When I was a youngster in the Cadets, I wanted to be a pilot, and it was great to be back in the hot seat and get an uninterrupted view.
This was booked with Harbour Air, based in Vancouver and BC. You can book on the day or in advance. I would personally book on the day so you can judge the weather.
There are plenty of views in this one as I try to capture the sound of the seaplane alongside some epic music, and it was great to see Garibaldi Lake from a different angle.
