The Aeropress is a very dynamic, mobile, and versatile brewer. To say the least, it can get very complicated with the many variables this brewer has. From water to coffee ratios to brewing time, agitation, plunge time, and much more, there's a lot to unpack here. This won't be that advanced video, I'll save that for later. Sigma 35mm vs. Sigma 24-35mm Art Lens Review
Exlant vedio. Keep it up with good vibes 👍🏼👍🏼
I have canon eos rp so it is worth to buy sigma 24-35 f2 instead of 24-105 f4 l ..main purpose is wedding video
I would choose 24-35mm because of the f2 which might be useful for wedding video
😂😂😂 Nice video
Nice! All I have is a Breville. It's not great but it does the job. I wish you had some Amazon links to take a look at them. Great video!
Breville isn’t bad! You can make some decent coffees with them. Thanks for the feedback and watching
Nicely presented.
Thank you!
bro calm down! hahaha
Hahah I'm trying to spread some positivity. I can't calm down
God luck and all the best Kutrovski. Very meaningful and touching story. I am starting my coffee business next year and hopefully able to produce my own batch of coffee for the public to enjoy
Thank you! Best of luck to you on your journey!
Can i use this lens on my r6 100fps
Great combo!
lol this pouch is $112 on amazon right now
Haha I didn’t believe you and just looked. That’s wild! There’s got to be some glitch in the system
I've had the same case for a few years and it's been around the world with me multiple times. I use it mostly for things that need a bit of knock protection when I'm doing carry on only, like my electric razor/clipper and electric toothbrush.
It’s a great case! It’s worn down on me since, but still works fine especially considering its price.
Oh man! Such a cool video! Already miss making coffee in places like these!
Thanks man! It was such a good time
Great review
Thanks!
How has the Stagg held up for you with regular Aeropress use?
Pretty well! It's been a pleasure to use since I got it in this video. It is though a bit big for my liking, but otherwise it's holding up great
@@markkut Heck yeah! thanks for the reply. I came here looking for use-cases for Stagg+Aeropress because Fellow technically says they are not compatible (on their website). But I felt like testing those waters too :)
@@susiejendro I don’t know, seems compatible to me haha glad to have helped!
Gosh I could use some advice. I just purchased a canon Mark 5D iii camera and I’m looking for a Lens specifically to photograph people. I’ve done couples, babies, and I have my first wedding to shoot in May and Idk what lens would be best. Someone help please!
Hey! This will be very dependent on your budget, but if you want one lens that will be able to do many things, I’d recommend a 24-70 f2.8. Those are also very expensive so the other choice I’d get is a 35mm
Hello bro .I have 35 for now and I'm using on eos R6 and I'm thinking to go with 24-35 sigma and do you think it'll be same autofocus as 35 and picture quality ???
It won't be as sharp as the 35mm, but it still looks great if you really need the extra 11mm.
Love this bro!!! Inspiring me to finally make my home set up haha. Also jealous of the batch brewer!
Ayy Josh! Can't believe you watched this haha Heck yeah. I've seen some of your pour over gear, it's good. Thanks for the feedback!
@@markkut thanks mate, really wish I live closer so I could try some of your roasted beans you do!
I hope to buying sigma 35 mm 1.4 or sigma 24-35 f2. What do u recommend to buying. Im using it to videography & photography. With canon 5d Mk IV
If you need the extra 10mm of focal length, I’d recommend the 24-35mm. If you don’t necessarily need that, definitely go with the prime Sigma 35mm. It has a slightly better image with more sharpness.
@@markkut you are telling 24-35mm is cant taking sharp images. better than 35mm sigma 🙄🙄
@@lakindupereralk8822 The 24-35mm is not sharper than the 35mm prime. However, if you need the extra 10mm focal length, it' should still be good enough!
I had to watch. I just got one of these. great video
That’s awesome! They’re great little brewers. Glad I could help!
the carafe mouth looks very wide. do you feel the V60 is steady on the top? had you any any complain about the use with a dripper? many thanks
The V60 fits very nicely on top. I’ve also used a kalita wave 155 dropper and an aeropress with the carafe. Every dropper I’ve used has worked great!
I bought the Kruve Evoke Carafe and my ceramic v60 does not fit very well on it. It fits but it has a wobble that does not evoke - thank you ;) - (I'll let myself out) - confidence during the brew. In the video, I can see your v60 on the fellow carafe. Does it feel sturdy? Thanks!
Hey Brad! Haha well said, that was pretty good. Unfortunate though that the Kruve carafe doesn’t hold your V60 well. I love using the Fellow carafe paired with the V60. It works very well!
Hi! Great video, thank you for the review! I was thinking in purchising the lens for my sony A7C with MC-11 adaptor, what do you think? Mostly for video, for filmmaking, do you think its worth? Im now using a 18-35 in crop mode in my sony but i want to sell it and change it for the 24-35, what do you rhink? Thanks!!
I haven’t used the 18-35 very much, but if that’s working for you right now, I don’t think it’s an absolute necessity to upgrade. The 18-35 is a solid lens!
What kind of cup is that?
It’s the cortado cups from Fellow!
New subscriber from Cape Town, South Africa. Great video, thank you! You deserve way more views and likes.

I appreciate that. I’m planning some more content here soon so stay tuned!
Pathetic ! N
Lol!
Kalita recommends 10 grams of coffee for the 155. Do you find 15 grams to produce a better result?
I had no idea that Kalita recommended 10g of coffee. I just experimented and for me 15g seemed to work well.
If you update the firmware to the latest, this lens is now compatible with the peripheral illumination correction in video and vignetting isn't really a problem anymore in JPEGs or videos.
Oh wow! Thanks for sharing that. I wasn’t aware of that firmware update.
tried it and it's pretty good Keep up the good job
Hey! Thanks for sharing that. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the coffee out of this.
Fantastic. Will give this recipe a go!
Thank you! Enjoy!
Nice video. But, it should be noted that flattening the filter walls actually counteracts why they were out there in the first place. The pantented wave design reduces contact between the brewing space and the filter itself for a more balanced extraction and a flavorful, full-bodied cup of coffee every time. The design of the filters work in perfect harmony with Kalita Wave Drippers to create a pool of water on top of the coffee bed that can help control agitation, helping maintain a uniform extraction without too much turbulation (which could lead to over extraction). That from the documentation. Just tying to help!
Hey! Thanks for sharing and that may very well be true. Another reason why I also flatten the filter is because it minimizes the surface area of the filter to the beans which will impact bypass. I guess at that point there’s a bit of a trade off between the two. I would be interested to do a blind tasting between the two and see if there’s a noticeable difference now that you point that out. I appreciate the comment! This was truly great.
@@markkut no worries - the Kalita is amazing. I’m sure your method way makes amazing coffee as well. You can’t really go wrong with the Kalita 155. Perhaps flattening the walls helps bring out different qualities in different roasts. Time to experiment…..and drink more coffee!!
@@LatherFace Can’t be upset with experimenting and drinking more coffee!
Actually i have the same story as your story !! and i am going to starting roasting too ! :) - good luck dude
That's awesome! Thank you and best of luck to you too.
@@markkut Thank you. | May i ask you about if you have or if you ever exprience kind of smoke problem during roasting ? because i have a place in size of yours but im concern about smoke or any kind of other difficulties due to small office.. ??
As of now, we have not dealt with any smoke issues or any issues in general with the roaster and our setup!
@@markkut Thanks for responding 🙏
Awesome! Thank you for sharing.
NO problem! Thanks for watching
Just me or did anyone just skip past so he would get to the part I clicked on the video for-? XD
Well said! I'll keep that in mind for the next video :) Still trying to figure this whole thing out.
Hey great content man. Just FYI canon just released a firmware update (1.3.1) that solves the issue with the view assist when set to C-Log 3
Thanks James! No way, that's awesome and very helpful for those shooting in C-Log 3. Looks like it was just released yesterday or today. Thanks for the update!
There is definitely a difference in quality in the last shot. The question becomes is it acceptable at a professional level if you never saw the All-i version.
Good, I’m not going crazy then! Well said. If it wasn’t for a side by side comparison, would it still noticeable or hinder the viewing experience for someone. Thanks for sharing that.
@@markkut They eyes, chico. They never lie.
Inspiring my friend 🤙🏾
Thank you Julio! Glad this was inspiring for you!
Dude I just picked up an aeropress over the weekend so this was perfect timing!
That's awesome! There's much to learn and master about the Aeropress. Slightly intimidated by it sometimes, but coming back to this recipe simplifies it. Have fun with it!
@@markkut most definitely! Pretty excited to try this recipe in the morning 🙌🏽
If I don’t have a Diedrich Roaster, will this still work?
This will definitely work if you don’t have a Diedrich roaster 👌🏽
I don't think so. No definitely not.
Great tutorial!!
Thanks Kev!
15gr of coffee and 200gr of water??
thats like 1-14 ratio
Yes, that's about how much you're getting at the end with dilution!
Great information I think you need a larger pitcher. I'd probably try 16g of coffee.
Hey! Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it. Perhaps, it just may get difficult to brew a higher dose in such a small brewer!
Alright alright i get it you are exhausted 😂
Haha thanks for watching 🙌🏽

I'm so proud of you, Markaroo! You're an incredible man!
Thaaank you!
This is exactly what i had to do, swith from wholesale to retail and rather then 5/10 bag deals its lots of smaller 1-2kg bag deliveries
Yes, for sure! There's a lot to learn from that 1-2kg bag model. I think this past year will change a lot in terms of how we think about the dynamic between wholesale and retail.
I highly suggest Hario’s thermal carafes. Dual walled, stainless steel, two sizes. Mine’s red.
That's right! I totally forgot about the Hario thermal carafes. I don't see them often so I forget Hario has a carafe.
@@markkut also I can toss it in the passenger seat of my car and it wont leak
They also don’t have the terrible dribble of blown glass
Is it possible to use the 155 filters in the 185 wave? I having a hard time finding the 185 filters in stock.
I have Kalita’s glass 185 brewer, and my 155 filters don’t do a super great job. The brew will often slow down a lot and choke up. Check Seattle Coffee Gear or Prima Coffee!
What is max capacity? And what is max brewed coffee it can hold safely with the lid on?
They rate it for about 0.6L but if you wanted to really max it out, it can probably safely hold closer to 0.8L or so.
